Great win. Get outhit 8 to 1 and still take the game.

Same shit. What is the fascination with this rag arm?

1 hit in 6 innings. Thrilling.

Now Kole gets rung up on a clear ball.

Yeah Doc, Tropeano got hosed on the pitch right before the double.
5 shutout innings. Love the depth.

Joyce only slugged .383 last season but I thought he'd at least bring some OBP.

Butler is slow as hell. I thought we had that market cornered.

Salas? I'd much rather see Morin here.

Huge escape by smith. Freese going into the slide for no reason is annoying.

Fair enough. I think he actually answered it more at the end when he said it wasn't fantasy. And, the part where he implied violence on Feinstein's part. Don't get me wrong, I think she's a dope of the highest order but I also didn't get any sense of violence from her. Seems like a bit of projection to me.
Threatening violence is exactly what governments do.
Do people pay their "taxes" because they want to? If they didn't pay would governments just say "well, it's okay, we'll get you next time"? People pay because it is made clear to them that the alternative is much worse. The government threatens to steal even more of their property or throw the person in a cage if they don't. It's called coercion. It's really effective.
Do any of the thousands of new "laws" dreamed up every year not have a threat attached to them? Governments threaten violence to get what they want.

She just advocated for the banning of a book.
"These documents are not, in my view, protected by the First Amendment and should be removed from the Internet."
She's making a pretty serious threat of violence here, isn't she? She isn't asking for people to voluntarily turn in their copies of the book or delete the copies from their computer or server. "Should be removed" is a clear threat.
Is she making an idle threat? Sure, she would never get away with it. That doesn't mean that threats against fundamental rights shouldn't be taken seriously and opposed. She made herself clear. If she thought she could get away with it she would indeed try to take this book away from people by force.
There are mountains of historical precedent for the banning of books, in the US (by localities) and around the world. It isn't "fantasy".

Whatever. As they say, "never trust a junkie". I'm sure Arte has learned his lesson.
Arte and Gus both.

@Ken_Rosenthal: #Angels statement on Hamilton is a fail. His “conduct†should not be matter of public discussion. What I just wrote: http://t.co/HRQSEqEWvK
Rosenthal is off his rocker to blame the Angels.
"He deserved better as a recovering addict. He deserved better as a major leaguer. He deserved better as a human being."
This monumental thief screws the team over again, gets away with it, and it's the team's fault?
He deserves shit.

Too much size. Neither team can shoot from the outside in that place but the zags have some good ogres. Big rebound advantage.
Good season anyway.

Sam Adams.
Good choice.
"If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude than the animated contest of freedom — go home from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains sit lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen!" - Sam Adams
I'd go with JFK.

Goodbye 'Nova and Georgetown.
Pac12 is now 7-0.

Bruins are playing really well. Parker brought it today. Cut down on the turnovers and guard Brown better in the 2nd half. 3 shooting is keeping UAB in the game.

A double and triple in his fist two at-bats tonight (off Bauer).

Give graphene filters for desalination a little more time. A lot of progress has been made in the last few years.
Low pressure (very low energy required = cheap) reverse osmosis desalination isn't far away.

A different song came to mind:
Good riddance to that POS.
