I won't claim to be an expert in who was her official bf. Walker was not the suspect. However, the guy she leased the car for (Glover) was a drug dealer. Her family admitted she was still seeing  Glover. Video placed him at her apartment earlier in the day.  If Walker got some pussy that night he probably wasnt her first for the day. If Walker was first, it  is possible her relationship with Glover was solely for selling drugs.  I would bet money she was fucking a drug dealer and likely financing the operation.

And the problem is people like you eating that shit up, and spreading it.
Theres actual value in going out and actually seeing and experiencing things over reading about it.

Picture driving to the scene, lights and sirens, getting spotty information... while trying to figure out what youre supposed to do when you get there, youre having to figure out just how to get there to start... and you dont get to slow things down.
But even worse than that scenario are the ones that come out of nowhere. Relative calm, routine call. Rolling your eyes that you are even wasting your time there. Then it goes south.
Had a partner leave about 3 years ago to some small PD in Washington. We all figured "have fun, youll get bored"
He was on a call last december (ill try and find it on youtube). Simple keep the peace, dickhead nephew wont give aunt her phone back.
Partner asks him "dude, give her her phone so we can leave." He says he will, other family starts to argue. He gets distracted. Looks back at nephew. Nephew is grabbing a knife.
Nephew stabbed my guy through the arm, stabbed his female.partner in the face.
He was just involved in a second OIS about 2 months ago. Not the shooter, but the handling officer. Shootout with TWO separate shooters.
And just like Iraq or Afghanistan (not sure where you were), these things happen daily.... but only "big" ones go viral.

Once shit kicked off we shot anything moving. Police don’t have that option. Nobody ever mentions all the crowds around these arrests. Few understand that the police have to account for the exterior threat of being surrounded by unknown thugs that not part of the arrest. Also, There seems to be some thought that the criminals deserve an opportunity of a fair fight. Stay safe out there!

whatever, tdawg. at the time i posted it, i didn't know it was fake. i admitted afterwards that it was terribly unfortunate that it wasn't legit from the girls relative.
but i'll die on the hill about the value of the message. this guy didn't comply at all with the police. he was tased and still kept going. he had just sexually assaulted a woman and had at least one knife. he put himself in this position.
my issue remains how he is being held up as some kind of martyr/victim when his victim is ignored completely. the fact that players are kneeling because of him (not her) or wearing his name on their football helmet (not hers) just makes it worse. heck, even the dem candidate for VP is singing his praises. it's all backwards.

Not because I dont agree with, or believe in the discussion or conversation. Not because Im one sided. Its just that I try (at least) to read these boards for entertainment, and dont want to ruin baseball and hangout thread talk with politics. If that makes sense.
I will say that where you wrote "how many of you have been in a real life threatening situation" is nail on head. Not just for the posters here, but the media, social media, etc
The vast majority of those who second guess those in my line of work still have to turn down the music in the car to find an address...
... yet they comment on tunnel vision situations, and about people in fight or flight situations. And that gets... old.
I mentioned on here a few months back about athletes i know, and why they dont like talking to fans and the media. Because they know the fans and media dont know all the myriad of details behind the "why".

I respect anyones opinion. I just also take it with a grain of salt, if someone has zero experience in something. Like virgins critiquing porn. "Her tits are too small".
Im at the hospital on a shooting right now. My 5th in a month. I also handled a homicide this year where todays victims cousin was the victim. No idea if this is related.

Nothing except someone was shot. Ive seen people shot in the head live. I had a homicide last month where a dude hit in the shoulder, one time, died, because the bullet bounced and went into his heart. 
There is no magic formula.
I would strongly suggest anyone who is passionate about this current climate at least familiarize yourself with what the laws actually say... not what youve heard is true, or feel the law should be.
And there are plenty of videos on youtube showing why cops dont like people reaching back into their cars. They just dont go viral on social media, so they dont count.
 

Thanks TORS.  My engine is currently assigned to the El Dorado Fire in Yucaipa.  Been here since 9/4, but before that we were assigned to the Lightning CZU Complex near Santa Cruz and was there for 15 days.

He has a challenging tasks with military leadership. Obama gutted a lot of senior leadership so we have a lot lib leaders. The retired Bush guys are war hawks. People under estimate the sick desire many leaders have for war. The path to General and legacy of existing Generals depends a lot on combat tours. These men have 25 plus years invested and career goals that don't die easy. We need them when shit hits the fan but they do let career goals and out dated policies drive decision making at times. 

I posted it because of the value of the message.  That it’s not from an actual relative is completely unfortunate, but the message of defending and supporting this thug by so many people while also ignoring the woman he victimized is even more egregious to me.
