  1. Finally have a sequel to the first great dance Can't wait for the new dance gif
  2. Hard to get too excited until this team actually gets to .500. When/if they do that, that's when the "new season" will begin
  3. It was a regular game between 2 bad teams and in the end somebody had to win
  4. Sosh had Trout leadng off immediately after his callup last year
  5. That's some easy power. Just sort of flicked it to RF and it shot out
  6. Yep. Get the surgery, recover for the next 7-8 months and come back HEALTHY next spring He's a .720 OPS DH, which isn't helping anybody. Enough already
  7. 20 known names and more to follow. No team may come out untouched without having a player being suspended.
  8. Sources said MLB officials were not sure how many players may end up being pulled into the scandal: the 20 or so they know of have been identified through paperwork, but Bosch is expected to provide more. Wow. 20 known names and perhaps even MORE to be named.
  9. http://www.fangraphs.com/blogs/the-angels-hit-rock-bottom/ Going into the weekend, the average hitter going up against Houston’s pitchers had posted a .370 wOBA. For reference, Ryan Braun has a .374 wOBA this year, while Robinson Cano is at .368. That’s the kind of production that hitters have had against Houston’s pitching staff. The Angels put up a .270 wOBA against the Astros this weekend. For that same reference, Brian Dozier has a .269 wOBA this year, while Pete Kozma is at .276. The Angels offense spent the weekend hitting like a backup shortstop against a bunch of pitchers who belong in Triple-A.
  10. Lol I thought this actually happened
  11. Put him on the DL because it's sad watching him at the plate.
  12. I believe the A's are 9-0 against the Astros, and the Rangers are 5-1 Angels are 3-7 and account for 1/3 of the Astros season total in wins The gap between the A's/Rangers and Angels is the size of the grand canyon.
  13. Nah they'll all just sink with the rest of this ship. All the wasted money is weighing things down causing it to sink
  14. Getting swept in a 4 game series at home by the Stros is really, really difficult to manage I don't think the Stros will sweep a 4 game series on the road for the next 2 years. They are that bad...yet this team sure found a way to make it happen
  15. Angels are responsible for 1/3 of the Astros season total in wins. This team offers no excitement. Tonight's ending is pretty much what we see in every big situation with this team. Need a big 2 out hit in the 7th inning? Get a weak groundout. Tying run at 3B in the 9th? Popup or K to end things
  16. So I guess they're working on getting back to double digit games under .500. Almost there
  17. This team couldn't do diddly poo, offensively
  18. Stros about to be what? 7-3 vs the Halos now? 21 wins for their team and 7 of them are from the Angels. 1/3 of their win total from one team. Still can't believe how crap this team is
  19. I just hope the FO won't make any more stupid mistakes that will hurt the team going forward. No more trading for rentals/no more overpaying for 30+ year old FA's.
  20. Yeah I wouldn't mind that. CJ's contract isn't really that bad and he's a solid pitcher....some team could be willing to take that thing on. Would help the Halos shed one contract off the books
  21. Amen. Stop with the "band-aid" FA signings or midseason deals. All it's done is delay the inevitable. This team should have been rebuilding/replenishing after 2010. The desperation trade for Wells just set things back more and then they go and continue to overspend for stars past their primes Think about the future and replenish the farm/depth. Add some serious pitching talent to the farm and hopefully they'll be ready to make another run in a few years. If this team is still relying on a declining Pujols and Hamilton in 2016 they'll be in trouble. By 2016, Trumbo, Trout, any other potential draft picks will need to be carrying the load and then whatever they get from Pujols and Hamilton will be looked at as a "bonus", but in no way should they be relying on them as their premiere run producers
  22. They need to seriously look at benching him vs lefties. He is pretty much a pitcher at the plate vs them .394 OPS with a .203 slg % That's right, a .203 slg % vs lefties. He has a .169/.190/.203 line vs lefties. 24 K's in 59 AB
