How many teams are thankful they didn’t empty their coffers for DJ.  Totally responsible for that angels run.  Only gave him one error but really two.  I agree with rbi for him like someone mentioned above.

While they have been playing very well I don’t think in the end Tampa bay will even be a playoff team.  I think that the Yankees and maybe even the blue jays with their offense will reel them in.  They could finish 4th in the east.  Even if only one of those two teams catches them they have to contend with the west teams Oakland and Houston for a wild card.  Today showed that their overachieving bullpen can be tenuous and they don’t really have the offense to bang with the other teams in the east. 

Anyone still think vlad jr is still even in the same breath as ohtani?

For a great bullpen they sure did cough it up. 

Why is anyone pitching to ohtani in any big situation?   There is no one else in the line up.

Welcome to the majors wander Franco.  I’ve noticed he tends to swing at the first pitch a lot...... and make outs.  He’s quickly becoming a pitchers favorite.  The highly touted call ups haven’t been tearing it up.  Kelenic was the same.

I know this isn’t the place but just looked and saw that the diamondbacks were actually 15-13.  They have gone 5-38 since.  Ouchy!!
