    That's another downside of hiring novices to save money. Some of them will learn from their mistakes but they'll also tend to make their worst ones at their first stop, like Dipoto did with us.

    Mo Vaughn was one of the main guys that made me an Angels fan back in the day. As a 10 year old not aware of the clubhouse issues he just seemed cool to root for.

    They've been great. I do wonder about their ceiling and whether they can be middle of the order bats rather than complementary players, but it's not like that'll have any bearing on the team's success anyway

    Doesn't surprise me at all that a guy like Arte is a terrible judge of character and that multiple big free agent signings have had issues with character and attitude (Hamilton, Pujols, Rendon)
