Usually every season a few homers will crank out that line, and I think it even happened once this year 

But now its really different 

• No prospects left to send away at the deadline
• Games played with 0 superstars
• Last place plausible 
• Record lows in attendance likely

There is something different about this team 

It's great news because it's the only way out of this hole.   Superstars won't want to come here, preventing albertrosss contracts, well hopefully get good picks for some years

Waiting another 4-7 years is a tough pill to swallow but at least there's a chance to be competitive again in our lifetimes 

I got back from China a couple weeks ago

Im nearly sure its a result as a lot of unnecessary extra spending and theres probably corrupt people everywhere pocketing off this "success" for a problem they intentionally started
