    Just because our aging overpaid players don't hit doesn't mean David Ortiz is guilty of anything. He's 37, but he's a great hitter. Hank Aaron at age 39 hit .301 / 40hr's / 96rbi's / 1.045ops which make the Pujols and Hamilton deals look even worse.

    F*** this pisses me off. You're kidding me you don't want the bases loaded and Hamilton up to win the game. All he needed to do was hit the ball in the air with aybar on 3rd. I don't care how bad he has been this year vs lefties he would have taken a different aproch into that AB. Why the hell not play fundental baseball right there and get the bunt down to have a winning run 90 feet away. Scioscia did this earlier in the game with borjous up he had him hit the ball and he lined out instead of bunting. Borjous is the fastest player in the game he might have ran one of the bunts out. I'm just saying I think we're being too picky right now I want WINS!

    I know we've been saying this all year but we have won 4 of the last 6. Minus 2 nights ago our pitching has been solid. The bats are awake and I don't see why we can't be back to .500 by June 1st. We're also gonna get Weaver Bourjos Burnett and Madson back very soon, and lets hope Hanson is back next start too. And if we win tonight we will have won back to back series.

    he needs to be more consistent. He goes 3 innings with out giving up a hit then gives up 5 runs. He's been hanging out with Blanton too much.
