Not sure but saw this from Rotowire: Vogt had already been nursing a sore right foot that had prevented him from catching for most of the season, but the left ankle now represents a more pressing -- and potentially serious -- concern. An MRI is almost certainly in the cards for Vogt, as the Athletics look to determine the severity of the injury. If the sprain is revealed to be a multi-week injury, it could put the sinking Athletics in a tough spot offensively. Vogt cooled off in August, but he's still posted a .340 on-base percentage over 256 plate appearances.
