Oh, I'm sure he didn't want to come out either.
If Kershaw can be pulled during a perfect game, Lorenzen can get pulled anytime.

They escaped!
But Tepera wasn't the one that made the decision to send out a converted RP for the 9th inning after a 30 minute half inning in a game where people are wearing parkas in the dugout.
E I E I OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
Lorenzen hasn't pitched 100 pitches a game in 7 years since his rookie year. Great time to let him try for complete game.

Save him for what?
How about rest of season. Lorenzen has averaged less than 80 innings a season for his career.

Walsh needs to work on being more selective.
He's swinging at anything out there.

Lorenzen coming out for the 9th!
Might have been smart to save him after the long top of the 9th.

Seems like everyone from the WhiteSox bullpen has really low ERA.,

Nice at bat by Captain Jack
-
Wow Ohtani being pinch hit.
-
Again its Ward and Trout doing all the damage for the team. Ohtani needs to pick it up.
-
Seems weird to waste Tanner Banks for second inning.
At least it means he wont be used for tomorrow's game.
-
Does Lorenzen go out for the 9th?

Lorenzen looking really good today.
-
Would have been nice to see Ohtani be more patient there.

I am glad the Angels didn't sign Keuchel a few years ago.

His BA is higher than Max Muncy's.
who cares Velazquez has one xbh all year and that was a double.

Velazquez might be the worst hitting major league player.
They should just let the pitcher hit.

This whole White Sox lineup minus Tim Anderson is really struggling.
Everyone is hitting below .700 in OPS, and 5 are blow .500 in OPS.
Of course the one guy not struggling hurts them.

Are Marsh and Adell now in a RHP/LHP platoon? I mean, it makes sense as far as team performance is concerned, but Adell is getting the short end of the stick. What percentage of starters are LHP, maybe 25%?
Marsh is the much better player right now.
Adell cannot be an every day player thanks to his terrible defense.
Michael Lorenzen in the rotation.

Lorenzen's main issue is going to be if he able to hold up starting all year.
He's been averaging less than 70 innings a year through his career so you have to take that into account.
