  1. Drury started out the season pressing I think, but he has sure settled into being a Halo. He could be huge for this team down the stretch.
  2. I'm surprised this offense doesn't lead the league in runners LOB. Or I'm just assuming we aren't, haven't checked.
  3. Angels sweep Houston for 4 games while M's sweep Texas this weekend. Pipe dreamin'
  4. Lol I know who the Tampa Bay outfielders are. Sorry for not being specific enough to inform you that Yandy Diaz and Randy Arozarena are both having better seasons than Trout.
  5. Nope, I disagree. Judge and the outfielders on Tampa should and will get more votes than Trout.
  6. The only hitters going well on this team currently are Drury, Thaiss, and Urshela. Yikes
  7. Mike Trout probably won't be an All-Star this year. Weird to think about... but... yeah.
  8. I know it may take some time to get his rhythm back, but if Walsh is penciled in to 1B every day, and Moniak plays every day (which he needs to), and then Rendon comes back... That leaves basically one spot in the lineup at 2B for Drury/Urshela/Rengifo. Ward with nowhere to play. I'd like to see Urshela in the lineup more. I suppose they could keep rotating the infield a lot, and say Rendon might play only 5 out of every 7 games or so to try to stay durable? It's a good problem to have for sure, but I see some potentially valuable pieces of the offense riding pine too much here (mainly Urshela.) If Walsh is still hitting say under .200 with 150 ABs against mostly RH pitching, does he lose his spot at 1B to either Urshela or Ward? How patient are we with Walsh when there are possibly a few better options on the bench?
  9. When Rendon is back 1. Moniak L 2. Trout R 3. Ohtani L 4. Rendon R 5. Walsh L 6. Renfroe R 7. Thaiss L 8. Drury R 9. Neto R The depth and L/R alternation makes the lineup pretty top tier.
  10. Taylor Ward better go back to catching if he wants to break this lineup... ...On second thought I'd even prefer Thaiss in the batter's box.
  11. Do you even watch the games or just look at the box score? Ward has looked horrible the entire season.
  12. Mickey's gotta play. Maybe Ward can start platooning with Walsh at 1B. I was optimistic about Ward coming into this season but now given his start to the season, and the fact that he didn't hit at all for 3 months last season, I've lost a lot of faith in him. It's tough, but this team needs to start performing better, and it comes down to production at the end of the day. Sure, it wouldn't feel good to demote Ward to a bench role, but we're talking about a guy here that has HALF a season of success. It's not as though he's put up 2 or 3 solid full seasons and we're benching him for a slow 6-week start.
  13. If Taylor Ward doesn't start hitting like a maniac then he better lose playing time to Moniak.
  14. I take back suggesting to trade Moniak. Kid looks like a future All-Star. Adell could be trade bait since the outfield is sort of crowded.
  15. A team that isn’t contending and would like to dump an impending FA for future value, such as the White Sox with Lucas Giolito.
  16. No reason to just assume Renfroe is leaving.
