I understand which arm they throw with. You still have three LHP's at the backend of his recommended rotation. The bottom line is Silseth is unproven. I know he had a good run for a few months at AA last year but not with the Angels. So to anoint him as a top of the rotation pitcher over Anderson, Detmers or Suarez is a stretch. The bigger issue is thinking he will be the 6th guy over Canning or Rodriguez and thinking those two are better off in the bullpen. I think Canning will be the the 6th guy, not an unproven Silseth. Ohtani/Sandoval/Anderson/Canning/Detmers/Suarez. Now you NEVER have three LHP's in a three game series.

I think Walsh will be a focal point in ST. They have the depth to replace him and he has an option so if he sucks still he may be in SLC. The league may have figured him out.

I feel like the difference is the photos and the victim's cooperation. Everyone saw the photos of Bauer's victim and she cooperated. Her statements were out there. Chapman's victim did not cooperate so he was not charged.

I agree. I posted something similar earlier today on the same thread. Minasian has created a lot of multi-positional depth this off-season. Urshela, Drury, Walsh and maybe even Rengifo can play corner outfield. Moniak can play ED in SLC. They could end up not picking up a 4th outfielder and going after a true SS. It's probably more likely they stay where they are at this point and stay under the LT cap.

True, but I think they have the depth now to cover the OF and that the last spot could be a true SS and not a 4th Ofer. It probably won't play out that way but it could.

As it stands now with the addition of Drury they have enough depth to keep Moniak in SLC playing everyday and use Drury, Urshela, Walsh and maybe even Rengifo as a 4th Ofer. Ward can play CF when Trout needs a day off.

A crowded infield situation. Walsh could be the odd man out. He has an option so he could be playing for a roster spot in spring training.

Come on Man. Let's be real. Thinking Walsh is an answer in the outfield is like thinking Urshela is an answer at SS. I actually think Urshela could play some corner OF but they will be best to stay mostly in their lanes. Urshela corner IF. Walsh 1b.

I agree with the versatility angle but Walsh doesn't give us much of that either. I think Perry will give Walsh a chance to salvage his career and won't go after Hosmer but if Hosmer finds a home where he plays everyday he could have a better year than Walsh. Hosmer can get on base and he doesn't K like Walsh. This team could use that.

Mike Trout will play at the very least his 4th and 5th career playoff games in October.

If we decide to listen to what Minasian actually said and not you guys. He is most likely to play 3b and 1b.
