    Pretty much locks Ohtani up as an Angel. Imagine him having been traded at the deadline….at least this fan base is used to being let down. Superstar player but he does need a lot of care and handling and free rein to do whatever he wants and this organization will definitely do it more than most while giving him the dollar he wants.

    This was the risk of not signing the extension. Personally I think this will lock him up as an Angel long term and Arte won’t lowball him too much showing loyalty.

    Extremely over Sandoval. A couple of above average pitches, but a mental midget. Time to move on from him and see if you can get anything valuable for him in the offseason.

    I didn’t think they would sign Vlad, I didn’t think they’d sign Bartolo, Pujols, Trout, Rendon. This guy wanted Turner last year. Im not betting against Moreno re-signing Ohtani.
