    Robinson is 32 and offers little at the plate. If anything he's a great defensive 5th OF on a team stacked with 3-4 good offensive-minded outfielders. We already have a lite-hitting Revere in our lineup. Also, I really wish Sosh would get this platoony looney tunes shit out of his head.

    I agree. I'm hoping they're just getting Robinson some playing time from now till the trading deadline. Once Aug 1st hits, call up all the kids. Trade off some vets.

    Shane Robinson's major league slash is .227/.295/.300 in over 421 games. Not so sample size, Sosh.

    Why? I get that he's hitting over .300 in Salt Lake, but he has little else to offer in terms of stolen bases, HR power and really has no upside other than a 6th OF. Why no Cesar Puello who is killing it, slashing .316/.370/.516 with 12 HR, 14 SB's and only 26 years old, compared to the lite-hitting 32 year old.

    Bummer they didn't promote Adell to Orem yet. I thought after reading Todd was getting promoted they'd bump up Adell. Also, does anyone have any info on Brandon Marsh? Did his finger fall completely off his hand?

    Yeah, this is why I think we shouldn't sign any FA starting pitchers. I would rather the team bulk up on offense. 3B/2B, LF and 1B. I'd like Cowart to compete with Fletcher for the 2B spot.

    Great idea, Strad. The only weakness really in Escobar's defense is his throws across the diamond. I think he would be a great stop gap 1B should we continue to seek out a WC spot.
