  1. Jose Rojas has slashed .309/.344/.476 between High-A and Double-A with 10 HR this season. Baseball America just noted that he's the best defensive 3B prospect in the California League. http://www.baseballamerica.com/minors/2017-california-league-best-tools/#5Qs3bJCjLOL01T3w.97
  2. I normally go to 2-3 games over a 4 game series, but the wife and daughter are leaving for Florida early next week so we're hanging out together this weekend. You should drive out to North Bend on Saturday or Sunday (only 30 min from Seattle) and say hi, dip your feet in the river @calscuf.
  3. He kind of reminds me of a young David Cone, minus Cone's heater. There's a lot of rise on his FB and some good movement, cutting action. He's got that same slow curveball, but can also spin off a tighter, faster hook.
  4. You sign him before at all costs. If our farm system was barren, much like it was a couple years ago and this was Trout's final year and he already turned down several good offers for a contract extension, I would gut some team's farm system for top talent and trade him. I wouldn't take the risk in losing him for nothing. That would be dumb IMO. I still think he's going to stay here for the remainder of his career though, much like Salmon, Ripken and Jeter.
  5. Agreed. I would rather have a guy like Scribner who keeps the opposition off-balanced than have a guy throwing mid to high 90's heat that's all over the place. I think he can profile well as a back end starter. Give you some good starts. I'm not sure why he was pulled yesterday after having thrown just 67 pitches through 5 innings.
  6. So back to Scribner.... What is everyone's thoughts after seeing him pitch a few times now? Fastball 88-90 mph, but he commands it well. Seems to jump on the hitters, so perhaps it looks like a low 90's 93 MPH heater to opposing batters. Seems to have a great curveball and average-solid changeup.
  7. OK, I have reintroduced just one ad networks ads. Please let me know if you see any problems, pop-ups or redirects on both mobile and desktop. Thank you!
  8. For now, I have reintroduced just one ad networks ads. Please let me know if you see any problems, pop-ups or redirects on both mobile and desktop. Thank you!
  9. I wouldn't even know where to start as far as selling ad space. Can you or anyone else here point me in the right direction? That would be best because we'd just have a static image with a clickable URL redirect.

  11. Yes they are, @mancini79. Two of the best dogs, lost within a 3 year span. Truth be told, after Princess died, Max's health started to go south. He aged very quickly. I believe it was because of his broken heart, losing his best friend Princess.
  12. ah, maybe it won't be so bad on Friday. That's the night I'm going.
  13. Of course Ricky Nolasco is sporting a Seattle Sonics jersey. He's unfortunately pitching on the night I'm going to the game this Friday. Gulp!
  14. There's no need for him with an upcoming series against Seattle in which we'll probably need another bullpen arm. Nothing to see here. He'll be back.
  15. That's right!! I totally forgot, @mtangelsfan. That was a good day. Really glad you got to meet him.. We really spoiled him with love. He also loved living on the river tucked away in the PNW.
  16. Thanks guys.. From the board @Adam, @mancini79 @GuliblGuy & @mrwicked had the pleasure of meeting Max. Such a good dog.
  17. There are three neutral, three positive and two negative reactions. You have nothing to worry about if you just post and don't suck. If I see people abuse it I can easily remove their ability individually to react to posts. It's that simple.
  18. If it weren't for Bud Norris bending over to take it up the ass the past two Sunday's we'd be tied for the last remaining wild card spot with Seattle. Grrr.
  19. I seriously would rather have Pennington at 2B and Cowart at 3B, w/ Cron at 1B in exchange for Valbuena in the lineup. It was a good idea at singing him, but it hasn't worked out. He has some of the most awful at bats I've seen.
  20. Welcome to AngelsWin.com, @Swiss Angel Fan. Please let us know if you have any questions. Hope to see you contributing to discussions. Please enjoy your stay.
  21. Two stolen bases in the inning for Puello. Like @Dochalo said, HAIL CESAR!
