The guy posts an undesirable .258/.342./417 career minor league slash line, but at the age of 29 something clicked and he's hitting .307 with a .919 OPS. He has slugged 19 HR and stole 17 bases in just 103 games this season. That works out to a 30/30 season with a 162 games.
Anyhow, the reason of this post is to remind some of you that just because a guy hasn't performed well in the minors, or has clicked yet in the big leagues, sometimes all it takes is a slight change in your approach, new coaching, mechanics, etc. for something to click and a prospect/player to take off.
