That was 100% on Trout.
Yeah for a player collision

Iglesias blocked Trout's right of way what an idiot

Heaney got himself in trouble, he was facing two of the better Twins right hand hitters after struggling to find strikes with the Ump, perhaps the Twins were getting those hits regardless. It's hard to say Maddon made a 'bad' move there prior.

Here's an idea: Someone needs to make Ohtani spend the offseason chopping wood. Like a real man.
Don't wood axe handles give blisters?

What helps explains the gap is that hitters are swinging for the fences like previous years but the ball isn't clearing the fence nearly as often.
There also seems to be a higher disparity between hitters BAs than usual. The league needs to adjust accordingly, seems the 3 outcome ballgame is coming to an end. -
Perez is happy he hit .900 against us, but what he says is true, sometimes you need that outside perspective to remind you how good you have it.

Rojas stays but he is at around half of his leash, if he struggles to get on base in his next 20s or so abs we might have to begin thinking about how to replace him. Main reason we keep him around as long as possible is he has shown the ability to hit really well, and he is essentially a utility player. Let's hope it was all nerves and getting that hit was all he needed to get back on track. I don't really give a care about his 'story' anymore unless he becomes amazing.

Shut up AJ

For April and the fact that we probably won't be this unlucky for the remainder of the season injury wise, also add in that our offense hasn't yet reached it's stride, the best is yet to come for us. Currently with this broken roster and how KC has started this season, this was par for the course. Let's count our blessings that the Astros are in an arguably worse situation losing their best players for at least a week. We also really need to find our backup/future players soon.

Something about vs Royals day games... idk what it is

How on Earth does Trout go 1-4 with 3ks against LHP?
-
Just very unlucky, Royals had the baseball god watching over them tonight

I think we've had the most bad calls go against us this season, especially in close situations. Not to mention the Astros scoring without touching the plate.

Gubi probably told the Royals all our secrets

Was that Duffy pitching good or Angels hitting bad?

The league adjusted to Fletcher, now Fletcher has to adjust to the league

It's the Angels way.

So far Jo Adell is the underdog, given his prospective rank and athleticism over the competition, a little surprised to see that.
Also a little unfair I put Jose Rojas on the poll since he can fill so many potential positions, he is certainly capable of playing RF but it seems he will be more of a utility player.
Edit: I added Brandon Marsh to the poll and removed Jose Rojas

I know this is purely speculative but given Dexter Fowler is out for the season, we will likely get a look at every one of these guys over the course of the season and that decision may come sooner than later depending on how the potential winner performs. There is also the chance that more than one player will regularly platoon if nobody does outstandingly well to steal the spot.

I'm assuming both players called each other off at the same time, if so, both of us are wrong.
And it explains why that happened.
