It's not only comical it cannot happen without a medical diagnosis and if that were made up the doctor's would be looking at losing their license, the players union would be all over Nevin's ass and Minasian would have fired him the same day for fucking with a depleted roster.

It is more than comical, it is straight out delusional.

I'm sorry but if he were fired after doing something like this it would, sincerely be poetic justice. As he would "suffer a loss" after a bizarre call he made just like the team has, sadly, on many occasions this season...

Bro, it hasn't mattered for weeks.  This is called playing out the string.  They told everyone what was happening when they waived everyone and told all their call ups -- "just have fun".

This is the part of the game where Rudy Stein and Timmy Lupus get play time, minus the playoffs.

Man...I wish as Rudi Stein could, at least, get on base...

Dude, if we sign him to a 10 year/$600 million contract now, that overreaction will make anything you see on Twitter seem reasonable, and that’s saying something. I’ve seen a lot of what you see on Twitter in your political forum posts.

Agreed. Plus, as great as it would be to resign him...didn't Perry already talk Arte into spending his $ on depth pieces this season rather than blowing a chunk to sign (1 player) Trea Turner?

Nope, Minasian oversees the entire baseball operation for the Angels.

IMO...Perry would have a much better case to be retained if he had been more concerned about depth when he was first hired. As his additions of such players as Legares, Duffy, Schebler (and other cast-offs), Suzuki, Velazquez, Syndergaard, et al have truly added nothing to a roster that, in his 3rd year, should have benefitted from a much more urgent/serious approach. I mean even with his more recent signings of Renfroe & Anderson & his ill-fated trades at the deadline...we still have no explanation as to why these moves were made nor how anyone could be seen as competent in making them. Likewise his not exploring/knowing fully who we might have received for Ohtani, his possible/likely link to the ruinous pitching changes/regression this season, to the possible ramifications of not being fully under the luxury tax. What positive changes (if any) have occurred in scouting, development or within the minor league system? Also, with the likely loss of Ohtani & our hope that Moniak, O'Hoppe, Neto & Schanuel, live up to their potential...I mean, it just seems that after 3 years of supposed "effort" the team has way more questions, right now, than it should.
