This pitching today and last night is what we didn't have in years past. I'm thinking where if we get good starting pitching we're going to win a lot of games like this. Tough offensive starts maybe but biding our time until the right pitcher comes in or they simply wear the other team out. I love this team so far this year though! I hope this is a fun summer of Angels baseball playing like this.

Anyone else getting the same vibe from when they beat the Yankees with that Walsh grand slam last year? Man it's great to beat both the Yankees and Red Sox late- especially in their own ballparks in front of their own fans haha. This Angels team is better than last year but the same satisfying feeling when they came back to beat the Yankees last year for me.

I know it's the Marlins but hey.. being ahead 4-1 through 6 innings and having a 7th inning guy and an 8th inning guy hold the lead without causing us a heart attack... I could get used to this. If our offense can get us ahead in the 7th inning I think more often than not we're gonna come out alright. LTBU! Go Angels!

Gotcha good to know. I was wondering why I couldn't find Stefanic anywhere except the Non Roster Invite section. -
Projected 28-Man Roster (Updated 4/6)

The Angels roster page right now has 28 players on it with Ward now going on the IL. There were 30 this morning. Not sure who the other one that went off is. But I see 28 guys and no Stefanic unfortunately unless it's not finalized. -
Wow! Actually looks like the Angels are going to have a really good bullpen right now. I'm also seeing Mets fans on twitter getting pissed that Eppler is missing on a lot of relievers lol. Sounds like my life from 2016-2020 haha. Well done Perry! Now get maybe another starting pitching option or 2 to throw in the mix and things aren't looking too bad. It's just great to see the 7th and 8th innings get addressed today as the Angels as I said were at minimum 2 stud relievers short last season.

So another year of Sandoval, Suarez, and Barria all going 4.1 IP with 5 ER while we are on year 10 of waiting on all 3 of those guys to take the next step. Obviously I'm exaggerating but it feels that way. This is just going to be the same shit next year. Bring on the lockout now I guess. The excitement I had last week for changes in the pitching staff is now gone. They're literally going to be the same team next year. So is a 1 year offer to bring back Greinke next on the table? FML

So since Eppler has taken over in NY, Syndergaard and Loup have both bolted for here and Matz has gone to St Louis. Eppler has responded by claiming Antonio Santos off waivers and signing a 25 year old outfielder named Nick Plummer who's never sniffed the big leagues lol. So glad Eppler is the Mets problem now. Mets fan will be pissed when he claims 10 bullpen arms off waivers and calls it good like he did with us.

We will all talk about the loss of Trout and Rendon this year but really underrated loss was Cobb the last month and a half. He was really starting to pitch well when he went down and was a big loss. Not saying of course we would have made the playoffs with him but he might have gotten us a few more wins to make it more interesting this month.
