Pitchers like Sonny Gray want to win so they tend to sign with good teams. Pitchers like Giolito sign with halos. Robert Stevenson be good sign for BP.

Bottom line for me this team a new direction to go in. Ohtani will be gone and I would see if Trout would want to be traded. Rendon's contract 3 more years halos stuck with that. Save some money on Trout's contract maybe send 75 to 85 mill to new team. Try and add some more young players to go with what halos have. Baltimore turned it around in 4 years and I think Angel's can also. Growing pains in next 2 to 3 years but something has to change from last 8 years.

All the bickering about a team that is a total mess. Will get new manager this year and new GM year after. Playing losing baseball last 8 years and going into this off season without any direction. Perry will sign another Loup and Tepera this off season. Overpay for a Giolito so the misery will continue. Angels missed big opportunity at trade deadline and not trading Ohtani among others. Trading away 2 of their top prospects to further empty what little was in farm system. This off season will be more of the same as Angel's trying to compete for a playoff spot. Trout and Rendon need to be healthy will once again be playing at your local ballpark in 2024.

I say Texas, that lineup is stacked. They are building a dynasty. In 2025 he can strikeout Trout again.

Next manager should have a medical background.

In 1961 who was Gene Autrey first choice to be manager. It was manager Yankees fired after 1960 season. He declined but in 1962 became first manager of NY Mets.

San Diego cutting payroll so they are out. Seattle will not put up that kind of money so they are out. SF would spend but not winning every year so they are out. Angels 8 losing seasons so they are out. Dodgers maybe but they do not like 8 or 9 year deals. Dodgers win every year and really do not need Ohtani. JD Martinez on 10 mill to DH had nice year. Jason Heyward picked off scrap heap very nice year. So why would they spend 500 mill. I'm going out on limb and say it will be Cubs.

I've been a fan since December 1960 I'm not going away. I look at numbers of games played last 3 years of Trout and Rendon they do not lie. Dream on if you and Perry are counting on those 2 in 2024 to be the difference. Eight losing seasons and what will change in 2024?

Replacements for Trout and Rendon will be under 30

This team needs a new direction. Signing another SP or 5 to 6 BP pieces 2 OF a 3B not going to happen. This team is far from being a playoff team. Will hear same old BS from Perry and Arte about wanting to win next year. How a healthy Trout and Rendon will solve many problems and how they are going to make big offer to Ohtani. How with new manager will change things, it will be same old BS.

Salmon was in dugout last weekend. He was looking for spot to be when he is manager.

Eight losing seasons, 4 mangers in 6 years this team is a total mess. It has zero direction going to lose Ohtani and watch Trout ask for a trade.

Four managers in 6 years how is that working out. Look at Orioles they stuck with Hyde thru 2 really bad years.

I like Baltimore sticking with their manager when he lost 108 then 110 games. Look at Orioles now.
