Domingo German seems like signing Perry would do this off season. He would add depth made 19 starts last year. -
I'm just leaving DH open.

For me this year I leave DH spot open. Do not want to sign someone who is just a DH.

He was never the same after Rendon punched him.

Carson Fulmer is my pick to be big surprise this year. Good spring and he might win rotation spot. Got to go need to take my meds.

Sano is another reason I do not sign DH type Soler or JD Martinez.

Halos have Rendon at 38 mill to play 3B so you add Chapman at 15 to 20 mill to play 3B. Lot of money for 3B. Save money for pitching.

Clevenger was over 3 war pitcher last year and Lorenzen at 2. Angels would be better with them. Would they be a playoff team probably not. I also do not think adding Snell or Bellinger will put them in playoffs. I would add Montgomery as he would be cheaper then add a Burnes, Buehler type next off season.

Like I said lack of depth but maybe this is direction halos go in this season. They have depth in BP plus most positions from signings on minor league contracts.

Lack of depth for starters right now. If Silseth is fifth in rotation who follows him? Daniels and Rosenburgh then who?

I'm surprised with so many teams looking for starters that Clevenger and Lorenzen have not been signed. Both might be looking for 2 or 3 years deals.

I do not blame Dodgers, Boras, players or owners. Each team has their own budget and plans as do players. Will be interesting where players end up also the price.

I remember how many clutch hits Moniak had late in games. This year not all the talk about Ohtani as Angels head in new direction. Young players forming new identity for this team. New era for halo begins this year. This team will be a pleasant surprise.

They do need to add depth at SS and many players do become available in spring. I'm still keeping an eye on that other guy. He is also out of options.

You are right but looking at his minor league numbers and he fills a need at MI. Cheap add some team will grab him.
