Most of the guys they brought in were on expiring contracts so just say goodbye and play what’s left of the farm system the last few months of the season. Nevin needs to be fired immediately and sent home with Barria driving him because there is a Uber job in both of their futures. Moniak is reverting to his norm which is below the Mendoza line. At this point the Angels have won 56 of 112 games so with 50 games remaining the Angels would need to win 2/3 of their remaining games or 34 games to win 90 games which based on the current standings would be the minimum needed to capture a WIld Card spot. Love the optimism but the reality has been that this Angel team struggles to remain above.500 and they struggle with teams that are above.500. This season is over.

No more.500 baseball if you want to play in October.

Not sure exactly why they went to Webb in the 6th when Sandoval had only thrown 90 pitches through 5 and had pitched decent. You might get away with Webb for 1 inning against that lineup but two was really dreaming. Ugly 7th for Webb but pitching is only going to hold up so long. Offense is offensive.

Angels uniforms appropriately clownish tonight. Fits the teams performance since early May. They are just unwatchable. Long season of pain ahead.

The Angels have had some terrible injury problems but the fast start was a mirage because the 2018 Angels are a terrible team. Time for wholesale changes this offseason. Last place in the AL West might force Artie to finally do something. This team is unwatchable.

It’s official 2018 is a dumpster fire that is burning bright and has no signs of going out soon. Trading deadline ahead and Angels can sell off some of their remaining assets to pick up some prospects that might help turn around this stumbling franchise. Why is Chris Young still on a MLB roster? What young prospective manager is out there that could breathe life into th Angels roster next season?

This team has been a steady implosion since they got off to a good start. They are as entertaining as a daily visit to the dentist. If they make any moves they should be selling not buying. There’s a lot of games left but this mediocre team is trending towards terrible. They will be fortunate to hold off the Rangers at this point.

Mariners get the June 13 division winners trophy. The end of season one will be in Houston AGAIN. Mariners might make it to the Wild Card game and get bounced.
