This is really similar to the Arsene Wenger situation where the manager was around for 20 odd years and had nothing to show for the last 13 years. The fans base was constantly battling between those who wanted to get rid of him vs those who wanted to give him more chances.

In football and basketball this team would need less managing. you have two of the best players in the world in Trout and ohtani. That's like having 2 prime Lebron James on one starting unit. Even with zero coaching that team would win championships.

Probably because they are in the same division as the Yaks, Bo Suxs, and Blue Jays. If they were in any of the other divisions in the AL or NL they would probably be battling for first.

I haven't really followed the Halos that long but Soc seems like he's past his shelf life. (like an Arsene Wenger). The problem I see is that Ohtani has bought Soc 1-2 years. I don't think they will fire him since Soc was part of the package that attracted Ohtani to Anaheim. It would be too big a change to someone (Ohtani) who is already adjusting to a new country, culture, peoples and baseball league. And they wouldn't want Ohtani to become disgruntled if his favorite and familiar manager is fired.

Why didn't you just post it under your real account? Is Soc talk verboten?
