  1. so basically because the O's were stupid enough to put a clause in his contract that allows him to block a demotion to the minors they either have to leave him on the 25-man roster or cut him while being on the hook for his salary...lol...well played O's.
  2. He has nicer hair then they did tho....that has to count for something
  3. It'd be awesome to see someone like Kurt Angle interfere in the Shane / Taker match...
  4. Agreed...The team is on the hook regardless of where a player plays (field/bench, rotation/pen) or if they are released. Make line-up decisions based on production instead of how much they are being paid.
  5. Good stuff man...i enjoyed listening to it. props to your daughter...
  6. Show 16 IMO. Its pretty great. The graphics and animations are awesome and gameplay it solid too.
  7. http://www.mlbtraderumors.com/2016/03/red-sox-name-travis-shaw-as-starting-third-baseman-pablo-sandoval-to-bench.html Interesting. That's one expensive back-up 3B. I always appreciate when decisions like this are made off of on-field play and not ridiculous contracts that should have never been given. Edit: Sorry, just saw this in the Hot Stove Thread. Mods please delete or merge if needed.
  8. weird seeing a small market team being on the hook for such a large contract...dont see that often...
  9. i know that...i was more debating the notion that that Rays would take him in any type of trade because of his spring so far.
  10. totally cool, but why? Not being a smartass or anything...just curious in your point of view...
  11. Well, to be fair...they are both having bad springs. Might as well go with our current outfield options and grab Loney. I guess it's more like which pile of sh!t stinks less...lol
  12. So I was away from the board for a bit so excuse me if this has already been discussed (mods please delete if so). But simply for the sake of discussion.....We are stuck with him for only a little while longer...Should C.J. go to the pen when he returns? Are our other starting options better than C.J. to the point that the team should have him come out of the pen like he initially did in Texas? He sucked as a reliever as well at times but if we are gonna have him suit up would you rather he be in the rotation or in the pen as a lefty option? Edit: contract aside...he will be getting paid regardless but which of the two rolls would he be most effective in (a.k.a. not hurt the team)
