Agreed...you see how a guy like Joe Maddon handles young players and you watch them thrive. I like Sosh as well but handling young players isn't really something he does well..
I was glad to see him run out the dropped strikeout in the first and hustle on the base paths but yeah, the defensive mistakes need to be limited....especially with the pitching situation.
Granted he wasn't an everyday player but he was pretty decent as a back-up. .250+ career hitter and a few seasons with 10 or so home runs....not surprising at all he hung around....id take that from any catcher we have currently...
