In 2021 and 2022 Jose Suarez had a sub 4.00 ERA and was good. He threw a fastball, curveball, and changeup -- nothing else.

In 2023 and 2024 Jose Suarez has been an abomination of a pitcher. He has been throwing a fastball, slider, cutter, and changeup -- no curveball.

Maybe someone can pass this along to someone within the organization?

    1. he is out of shape, and fat.

    2. his stuff has regressed, he's lost close to 2 MPH on his fastball, his chnage-up used be great, and is garbage now, both his fastball and changes are meatballs. thus, he sucks.

    3. He is fat! did I mention this? but he's fat.

heck Barria would have probably been better.

  2.  We can clearly see the work Jo Adell has put in and is  been making some impressive at bats. A more compact swing and improved contact rates are promising signs of development.  If he can maintain a strikeout rate in the 20 to 25% range while increasing his walks, that could greatly enhance his value as a hitter.

I would say placing him in the lead-off spot seems like a strategic move, especially with his combination of speed and power. It could give your team an early offensive boost and set the tone for the rest of the lineup, similar to trout.

    1. Adell Rf (let him run! similar to an Acuna mold of role, with out the star power

    2. Rendon 3b. With Rendon ability to control his at-bats, make contact, Wash can do so much with him and Adell

    3. Trout Cf, I'd keep Trout in the 3-hole. He's in a really bad slump.

    4. Ward Lf, big run producer

    5. O'hoppe C, perfect spot for him

    6. Sano DH

    7. Schaneul 1b, He starting to finally hit again, not really seeing the power that I hoped, but he still showing a good eye and hitting the ball

    8. Drury

    9. Neto
