  1. Why do you care if Lebron comes back for meaningless games? Obviously the docs told him the the more rest he gets on the ankle the better.
  2. I am not worried about dropping to 8-10, I am confident the Rockets game is a win no matter if AD or Lebron plays so even if they lose the rest, the other teams will have to win out to pass the Lakers. As far as Lebron goes, I'm all for him coming back and playing some games before the playoffs but that is if his ankle is fully healed. Seems like he came back too early at 6 weeks as I read it takes at least 10 weeks for a high ankle sprain to heal fully. If that is the case I'm not worried if he comes back for the play in game.
  3. No reason not to rest LeBron(and maybe even AD) until at least the final 2 games of the season or maybe even until the play in game. AD looks like he is slowly getting back to his old self but back seemed to be bothering him tonight.
  4. You don't need polls, just look at 2016, Trump won a bunch of states by narrow margins(Michigan by 13k, Wisconsin by 27k, Pennsylvania by 44k and Florida by 114k, just to name a few) against a horrible candidate and without a 4 year track record of being president. Also it's not like Trump got shattering number of votes compared to previous Republican candidates. As long as the Democrats turn out like they did for Obama(maybe not necessarily to vote for Biden but against Trump), the margins are easily achievable. And the turnout is looking more like 2008-2012 rather than 2016 so far.
  5. Green shooting 23% from 3 in the finals. If he can’t shot 3s what is he good for?
  6. All those players and picks they gave up for George. Clolippers
  7. The 2020 RCP average is only past 4 polls, for 2016 I am assuming they are using the average off all polls since for Wisconsin it says Clinton +9.5 but the 2016 RCP average was +6.5 https://www.realclearpolitics.com/epolls/2016/president/wi/wisconsin_trump_vs_clinton_vs_johnson_vs_stein-5976.html But we don't need to look at the polls to see that Trump is in trouble, just look at the 3 closest states in 2016. Trump in Michigan by 11k, Wisconsin by 23k and Pennsylvania by 44k. Biden is a much better candidate and Trump's approval is in the tank.
  8. Weren't you going to get it from a family member who had it?

  10. If only the lines at the polls were as short as those at CVS and Walmart
  11. "USPS warns 46 states it cannot guarantee mail-in ballots will arrive in time for election" There is no crisis here, this happens every election
  12. We are talking about a secure, convenient, way to mail something 24/7 correct? None of those you listed checks all those boxes. If @gotbeer is telling me I shouldn’t trust the blue bins with my ballot why the hell would I trust my grandma’s friend’s mailbox? And don’t get me started on my work outbox, if they happen to see I voted for Trump I would get fired on the spot.
  13. Don't know but in California but is a common practice in mail in voting states with very low reports of fraud https://www.brookings.edu/blog/fixgov/2020/06/02/low-rates-of-fraud-in-vote-by-mail-states-show-the-benefits-outweigh-the-risks/
  14. Except only 4 states are reinventing the wheel(by sending absentee ballots to all registered voters) , the rest are doing exactly what they have been doing in the past in regard to mail in voting
  15. So you are against something based on speculation of things that could happen even though there is no proof of it happening in past elections? Are you also against leaving the house when it's raining because you may be struck by lighting?
  16. So you are ok with special drop boxes outside polling places? Something Trump campaign is suing PA for?
  17. Yes that should also be an option for people to do that, just as there should be an option for people who want to avoid face to face interactions and long lines to be able to drop theirs in ballot boxes or mail them in.
  18. If the president feels it’s safe enough to mail his ballot and his whole family’s without them being stolen, I don’t think the rest of us have anything to worry about. Plus if it was really that dangerous, would it be a good idea to fund the USPS to improve the security of these boxes or have alternative ways to drop off ballots? (like special drop off boxes right in front of polling places, something the trump campaign is suing against may I add)
  19. Unless you can use your email or your bank’s bill pay to vote it is safe to assume that at least for the next 80 some days the post office and the drop boxes will be used a lot.
  20. Well the right wingers believe that Biden is just a puppet so if that's true it is possible for Kamala to be calling the shots from 2021-2032.
  21. There are 9 states that will be mailing a ballot to every person, Washington, Oregon, California, Nevada, Utah, Colorado, Hawaii, Vermont, New Jersey. Exactly 0 of the 9 states are purple states. 5 of those (Washington, Oregon, Utah, Colorado, Hawaii) have been doing this for years with very little documented fraud and no one made a fuss about mail in voting in the past. The other 41 states will require mail ballot to be requested. This whole mail in ballot is blown completely out of proportion led by Trump who is trying to suppress the turnout because he believes(and rightfully so) a higher turnout will lead to more votes for Biden and if he does lose he can use it to discredit the election.
