you'll go far at AW with that attitude...
Lol. Go far? Really? It’s a message board. U guys must have no lives to all be picking on little old me. Maybe I’ll find a different angel forum cuz u guys r like a cult.

So did prime Griffey jr, Pujols, bonds, a-rod, sosa, miggy, and many many more not bat 3rd? Lol if u think I’m wrong. U think any ball player outside of the ones who join the media say to each other or even think about the kinda stuff you analytics nerds say? Well they don’t. They care about their avg, hrs, rbis, stolen bases, strikeouts things that have for a long time been the point of conversation in baseball before u armchair *advanced stat geeks came around.
-
The angels 3 hole has been a joke this whole season. 3rd is and always has been your best hitter = trouts spot
-
Lol u say I’m spamming when ppl are quoting me and want me to respond? What kind of backwards ass message board is this? Get a grip man. I’m not spamming just answering. But guess what there are four or five of you I know to stay away from now so I won’t be answering y’all. Way to make an angels fan feel welcome.

Gubie said the other day that every game he pitched the day he was starting he didn’t feel like going out there. But once ur out there and get that first out even if it’s ur debut u forget about all that stuff and just play. U guys making a mountain out of a mole hill

It’s not like he hasn’t ate in the last 48 hours which then I’d understand would be a detriment to his performance

yes.
how come you think it doesn't?
Based off of knowing a thing or two about kinesiology and athletes, Olympic athelets no less, who have performed without eating b/c they didn’t feel like eating from nerves or whatever the reason may be.

you obviously did.
and you were wrong.
You’re putting words in my mouth. All I said was he probably had a meal I didn’t say he had a meal and that’s a big deal. Jeez I’m sick of arguing with u and ur buddy blarg. I’m ignoring all further posts by both of you

Couches are comfortable as hell to sleep on. U guys r grasping at straws
-
Ok so he didn’t eat. Big f’n deal lol. U guys think that really makes a difference?
-
btw what about them disrespecting me? Or is this like a two tier justice system?

I guess you don't know Canning's history of shoulder problems that dropped his value in the draft allowing the Angels to pick him up in the 2 round of the amateur draft.
He did not pitch for the Angels that season, instead stayed in Arizona working on rehabbing the shoulder. Last season he was on limited innings and pitch counts. The jump from starting in A+ ball last year to the Majors this season is quite an accomplishment.
But it isn't reason to over extend a kid that has the longest day of his life. If you think for one minute he slept at all last night or was able to eat before the game, you are clueless. He had media events, getting to know his coaching staff, working with a new catcher, fielding drills and long toss.
He was living off adrenalin and when that faded so did his fastball and location. Add to it he was running through the Jays lineup a third time and they were tagging everything in the zone, he was done. No need to leave him in to lose the lead and potentially take a loss.
In short, you are so very wrong.
He didn’t look like any of those things you describe. He looked rested slept in his own bed, probably had a home cooked meal from mommy and had the family watching to back him up. And a lot of what ur saying is conjecture. I didn’t know u talked to him before/after the game and he clued u in on how he’s feeling. U sound hung up on proving me wrong but u won’t and can’t. And if he is so limited b/c of his shoulder why let him pitch more then 40 pitches? Why is 80 the magic number? U r splitting hairs but don’t realize it. Try again.

Jose Mota is one of the smartest baseball minds. Love his analysis

you're gonna get a time out soon.
For what? People are quoting me which usually means they want an answer back. Sorry for being polite enough to respond. And time out? U sound like a square

The manager is responsible for the health of his pitchers. Keeping Canning in the game any longer would be irresponsible. But you are too obtuse to understand this.
Ok ur officially too stupid to argue with. U really believe that canning throwing 20 more pitches would endanger his arm? Ur nuts dude.

a rotation of pussies
Lou, do you have trouble reading? The manager who pulls these guys are the pussies. The pitchers would gladly throw into the 100s. You’re trying to hard.
