Santiago has been great so far but I don't think he has as much value in the trade market as others on this board do. He's pitching a little better than his advanced stats suggest, he's due for a raise after this year and doesn't really go deep into games. I think he's most valuable on our roster and the best move for the Angels is to keep him.
The dude got rocked, beaned a batter and got ejected. He knew what he was doing, look at how he walked off the mound and didn't even argue with the ump. He didn't care that he got ejected, good move on the astros to punish him.
He's been good this year but still doesn't have a whole lot of value. He can't go deep into games and isnt exactly a work horse. Not to mention he's Arb eligible next year and a FA in 2018. Why the hell would the Cubs move a club controlled top prospect for him? Like I said Santiago and newcomb for schwarber MIGHT get the Cubs listening. If the Cubs move schwarber it'll be for someone like sale or hamels. The dodgers need another starter. They should just trade Turner to the mets for snydergaard or to the Astros for Appel.
If you start your trade offer for Schwarber with blantiago you'd get laughed out of the building. You might get them listening if you offered Santiago and newcomb. Imagine the Dodgers wanting newcomb and centering their offer around VAN SLYKE or Turner. Lmfao.
Seriously, it won't happen. Women just don't have the size, strength and speed to play at the same level as men. Even someone extremely dominant in her sport like Serena Williams wouldn't come close to being elite. Maybe qualify for some major tournaments and that's it.
