  1. Angels continuing to waste Trout's greatness. It's just a crime at this point. This generation's Ted Williams.
  2. Trout would rather retire as being the best player of his generation without winning a single World Series ring than be a mediocre player with multiple rings. The money, the money. It's looking like the Angela are going to waste another awesome season from Trout. Just disgusting.
  3. Trout got him for a home run two seasons ago in Baltimore. Looking forward to Trout going up against Means once again one day, could be this season.
  4. The slash line for offense as a whole so far this regular season is .234/.311/.394. That was before today. Not that shocking that another no-hitter happened today. We might be seeing another 1968, just like we did in 2014.
  5. Trout should steal a couple of bases if he gets on base tonight. This team's idea of not letting Trout steal because of one fluky injury is stupid. Especially when you have the lineup for the Angels in tonight's game.
  6. Like the only thing annoying about Trout this season is that he's striking out a lot. Strikeout rate a bit skewed because of a bad span of 5 games. Oh, and I need Trout to steal some damn bases. This team not letting him run, what a stupid and soft idea.
  7. Angels can't even do the little thing that is called defense right so far this season.
  8. Yeah, this is their chance to boo the Astros for the cheating scandal. It doesn't matter to me. I mean, for the fans who wants to boo the Astros, go for it. Just don't cross the line. We all have done something that is considered a crime before. Me? I've cheated before in school and stole things.
  9. Looking forward to the Astros playing against the Yankees. Yankee fans will treat the Astros like they're murderers or something.
  10. I think it's more because of the team than Trout. It's just stupid and soft, in my opinion. Just because he had one fluky injury trying to steal a base in 2017 doesn't mean that you should stop letting him steal bases. He did stole 24 bases the season after he got hurt trying to steal a base against the Marlins. That leads me to believe that it's more because of the team.
  11. It wouldn't even be fair to opposing pitchers if Trout decides to steal a lot of bases again. Trout has become like Mantle (great speed but doesn't want to steal bases).
  12. Uh oh, Trout's BABIP for this season is creeping down to .500.
  13. It's getting to the point where Trout might end this regular season with a BABIP of at least .500. I thought a .400 BABIP for Trout this season would be nice. But...
  14. Trout had a .298 BABIP in 2019. I think Trout will have a BABIP over .400 this season, which would make up for his bad luck on BABIP from 2019. .500 is just reaching it. I mean, this is Trout who we're talking about. I want Trout to bunt a few times for hits and steal bases again just to troll opposing pitchers. If Trout wanted to do those two things, he would do it, especially the stolen bases. I don't know if he wants to do it because a fluky injury might happen again if he tries to become a big base stealer again.
  15. Trout currently has a .568 BABIP in the 2021 regular season. MAY I get another .568 BABIP from Trout for this month, MLB Gods? I'll be happy with a .400 BABIP for Trout this month, however.
  16. Where did I say that Bauer was good for only two months last season? The guy who I was referring to that was good for two months last season was Bundy. Learn how to read. I already gave a clue that Bauer had one big season in 2018 earlier today. 2020? I'm not even going to judge players' performances from last season. 60 games in a season isn't even half of an MLB season.
  17. If Bundy continues to pitch well like he did last season, I'll change my view on the guy. I'm not going to all of a sudden see Bundy as this very good pitcher, yet. If he continues to put up solid numbers on the mound, I'll say he's good but I want to see more than just 2 good months or something like that from last season. You're an idiot if you think Bauer is an elite starting pitcher. It takes multiple full seasons for a starting pitcher to deserve to have that label next to their name. 60 games is not even a half of a season. The elite starting pitchers in today's game includes Cole, deGrom, and Kershaw. Not a fan of Kershaw but he's still an elite starting pitcher despite no longer being at his peak. And here it is, if you can read: MLB News: Trevor Bauer Says Mike Trout Takes HGH For Thyroid | Get More Sports
  18. They would gladly take 2014 second half Trout on their roster.
  19. I don't see Bauer as an "elite" starting pitcher. He's a mediocre starting pitcher to me. Living off one fluky season (2018) and a season that was 60 games long. You're one of the few people who would say that he is an "elite" starting pitcher. He's not even a top-20 starting pitcher. I think you're trying to cause drama like he did when he was an idiot for accusing Trout of using HGH by saying that he is "elite".
  20. Yes, I said he was mediocre. You have a problem? I'm not going to say that there are 70 starting pitchers better than him. But the guy is living off one fluky season in 2018 and one short season where I wouldn't even judge players on their performances. I just can't stand the guy. Hell, another reason why I can't stand him is just that he lied about Trout using HGH last season. I mean, if you're going to accuse someone of doing something, better have a reason for it. Just a mediocre pitcher who is desperate for attention because he's mediocre.
  21. 2020 was just a year that I wouldn't even try to judge players because the season was short. Why would I try to take my time and name the starting pitchers who are better than him? Not counting 2020, what has he done outside of 2018 that would make him not mediocre? 2014, mediocre. 2015, mediocre. 2016, mediocre. 2017, mediocre. 2019, mediocre. I can name a lot of starting pitchers better than Bauer that you have not listed yet. I'll give you a few guys who doesn't come to mind immediately. Stroman, Ryu, Sonny Gray, Luis Castillo, Hendriks, Giolito, and Nola. A few of those guys are off to slow starts but it's still early in the season.
  22. If Trout does indeed set the all-time record for career strikeouts (for hitters), it is what it is. That just would mean that he was playing at the Major League level for a long time. Ruth once had the most strikeouts in MLB history for hitters after he retired. Same with Mantle. Now Reggie. All three of them were playing for a long time. I would rather have Trout break the all-time strikeout record and average like 152 strikeout per-162 games rather than him falling short of 2,597 career strikeouts and averaging like 190 strikeouts per-162 games, At least in the first scenario, he put the ball in play more and gave himself a shot at getting on base.
