I have sources(wife and personal assistant to a current Angel player) that said he is only interested in staying and Angel or going to the Dodgers, period.
This was pre injury information.

Catchers have to be free to call the game in real time and not be worried that they might get in trouble if they don't call the 27.5 percent CUs that the guy upstairs commanded him to call. What if his CU isn't working well but the sweeper is unhittable that day. Could you image some guy upstairs telling Greg Maddox or John Lackey how to sequence his pitches and what percentage of CUs he is going to throw in tonight's game.

When does he decide to take offer or stay in college? Is he better off staying in college and try again next year?

A player's player that does not play???? Inconceivable! He doesn't even like his job.

I did not read all the post but please stop with the crazy optimism. Total and should be undeniable BUST. He would have to come out after the break and hit .350 with 25 bombs and repeat that performance for 3 more years and lead the team to the post season. That ain't happening.
Everybody saying his injuries aren't his fault. I don't know the guy or his regiment but if these guys took a pay cut when on the DL, I am 100 percent sure they would be hiring the best trainers and taking the best preventive measures available to avoid injuries and the pay cut. Garuantee money will make most players soft. They are human. Did anybody ever go on the DL for turf toe 50 years ago?

My bad. I thought it was a freeway series.

Dodgers will welcoming him into Dodger Stadium with a red carpet. They will probably have a special pregame interview with him. They are going to make him feel like he is at home. Like them or not, the Dodgers aren't stupid.

If the Angels make the post season do the odds change?

No. I'm saying that this belongs in the political or hangout thread, because there are people on this board who disagree with the original posters opinion. And they didn't want to get into an argument.
Most all non-Angels Baseball on the field stuff Is moved to one of these forums. Thanks.

Well the team could uninvite them. Are you going to subject your family to this:
the Sisters paraded the slogan "We gotta give 'em Pope" by displaying our own Pope Dementia in a cage where he could just barely reach out to fondle our young acolyte. Demonstrating a true knowledge of current events, the Sisters' float also included a masked figure looking a lot like a Texas political cowboy who was straddling a cock-rocket, showing the public that we had, indeed, finally found those nasty "Weapons of Ass Destruction".

I am not Catholic but now considering becoming a Dodger fan. These people are so open minded that their brains have fallen out. Why would you want to invite an openly anti Christian group to anything?

Maybe the drive down into the Chavez Ravine will be too uncomfortable and he will stick with the Angels. Only hope we got.
