I think the Scioscia doesn't rely on stats or believe in stats is the biggest AW FACT of all of them. Oh and by AW FACT I mean not really a fact but something people tell themselves on here to get a simple answer for a difficult question.

I guess I don't have as high of standards as the rest of you when it comes to this stuff. I won't say I fly a ton, but I am guessing I have flown 75 times in my life maybe slightly less. I have never had an issue with Ontario airport or South West Airline. I have had issues with American Airlines and Alegiant. For me with Alegiant it was just cheap ass airline. They charged you to have carry on bags. American the issue was on the way to Miami we had to turn around 45 minutes into the flight because they were struggling with cabin pressure. Then on the way back we had an issue on American where we were sitting on the plane for over an hour before they decided to have us all get on a different plane. I don't really have an issue with American for making that kind of call, it was better than the alternative. I don't care for JFK Airport, but if I had to fly out of it again I am sure I would get over it and understand that I will be sitting on the tarmac longer that I would want to.

Yes they are creating these positions and paying people money to ignore the actual information they will be providing.

Virgin is the absolute best I have flown with, granted I flew either first class or business class. I have flown it to Heathrow and to Australia.

How bout we do this. We will compare 2014 since they were both in the American League. IN 2014 the Rays had 43 sacrifice bunts the Angels had 26. This year the team had 37, so we are going to bitch about the team sacrifice bunting once 4.5 games? I swear when people watch these games they watch it to see what they want to see and not really what is happening. Also, Longoria had a sacrifice bunt.

I am willing to bet if we had the same results with a manager that Dipoto brought in he wouldn't be considered the way he is considered here. This is totally a case of he isn't Scioscia so he must be great. The enemy of my enemy is my friend, even though they both have said it is less about the two of them.

You're nuts if you think SW is worse than Alegiant. Also I make decent money and I doubt I would pay $200 to avoid an airline, not even Alegiant.

Absolutely HB, they are the most inconsistent and most volatile part of a team. So it's the hardest part of being a GM and the hardest part of in game management.

How often are the Angels bunting early in games not including Aybar who bunts on his own all the time. Who shouldn't be bunting on the Angels? Here's my list, Trout, Albert, Kole, Cron and Freese. I'm guessing this past year that group bunted zero times, maybe Kole once, but doubtful.

I like Murphy, unfortunately unless you trade for a very good third baseman, shore up catcher and second base then you can't have him as a starter on this team. Also he isn't the best 4th outfield candidate no matter what his cost is because he can't play center field.

Slaughtered? They've beat us four more times over the last 15 years. If you chose to go the last 10 years we have beat them 8 more times.

So Scioscia and Maddon make very similar in game decisions. They both use the contact play (which I don't like), they both use the bunt a lot, they both use lefty righty match ups. But one worked well with Friedman and the other "will never be a good fit" for Friedman because something something metric lasagna. Is that about right?

Just like how the A's kicked our ass this past season.
