Oh Arte… All the bad press over the last 10 years, mostly brought on by penny pinching and running this once great franchise into the ground. why not just shell out the cash to make nice facilities that entice players to want to play for this franchise? it’s a constant cycle of embarrassing media coverage. If you don’t want to invest in the infrastructure of the team, just sell it to someone that will.

You are very passionate about this subject apparently lol Anyways 90% of what you said isn’t factual and is just you coming up with your own spin on it. Sure they offered Cashman field, A’s didn’t want it, now all of a sudden she’s bitter about it and doesn’t want the A’s in the city? lmao. Don’t you think it has everything to do with the poor location, 3 sports teams already in the city in addition to F1(all in the same area), and the amount of congestion it’s going to cause at that end of the strip. Not to mention the A’s have continued to show Las Vegas and Oakland they have no direction as a franchise. anyways weird thing to even argue about lmao

The problem is how do you kick Marisnick and Hicks to the curb when they have been crushing it this spring? Im not saying they should be given a job based on a spring training performance in lieu of a potential 2 WAR player, but man Perry has some decisions to make. Hopefully they can find a way to not lose Adell.

Is there a cutoff date for when you would have to give draft pick compensation for signing Snell? Or is it if you sign him at any period in 2024 you will forfeit a draft pick? also on mlb.com it says the padres will receive a draft pick in the 4th round or later since they exceeded the CBT last year, but later it says the angels would forfeit their second highest draft pick. So would the angels lose their 2nd or their 4th? anybody else with insight?

Writing entire books to justify your wrong take lol what I’m saying is pretty simple… Las Vegas doesn’t want the A’s and the A’s don’t make sense in Vegas. What does being a resident have to do with anything? I have not heard from a single resident, business owner, mayor, etc in Vegas that is welcoming of the A’s. Especially with the location they chose for the stadium, and it has nothing to do with tax revenue and everything to do with the location not making sense logistically. If you were a local like you keep going on about, you would know that it’s an awful location for a stadium. Traffic will be SO bad…. The raiders can’t even get a good crowd and they only have 8 or 9 home games, and a very die hard fan base, and that basically goes for every location they could find in Vegas. Parking won’t be an issue because nobody will be going lol

Allegiant, T-Mobile, UNLV stadium, LV Motor Speedway, The Airport, and 1/2 of the strip is in Clark County. I think you’re making your own argument up out of thin air lol if she had that concern why didn’t it keep the raiders or The Aces/The Golden Knights from getting brand new stadiums in Clark county?

"I thought, this does not make sense, and so why is it happening?" Goodman said. "And then I thought, well, because they really want to stay in Oakland, they want to be on the water, they have that magnificent dream. Yet they can't get it done." When the podcast hosts asked Goodman if it would be a "good thing" if the A's do complete their relocation to Las Vegas, she responded by saying: "I personally think they've gotta figure out a way to stay in Oakland and make their dream come true." I mean, not sure how you can read those quotes and come to a different conclusion. But whatever lol

I agree with most of what you say. Aces wouldn’t work, they probably would stay with Athletics or need to rebrand the entire team which would probably be best, in my opinion. Im also skeptical they could draw decent crowds for 81 games even if they were playing well. Las Vegas is pretty dead on the strip mid week if there aren’t conventions and things going on, and I think there a lot more thrilling things to do in Vegas than watch a baseball game unless it’s the playoffs, or you’re a huge baseball fan.

What’s that saying they have about insanity and its definition?
