I'll be seeing the Angels on the 27th in a suite through my job, first time for me. I think Silseth is pitching too and it will be great to see all the new faces. Perhaps Trout will be back by then also.
If Canning is healthy, they can't ignore the option of letting Detmers take a break in AAA. I think going to the bullpen is out of the question. He needs innings to try to figure things out.
I agree Junky. An increase in wins will still be an improvement especially with all the adversity this year. Maybe Ohtani will think, "The team won this many with all these injuries. What's the chances that we can be this hurt in 2024?"
Just saw the condensed clip of his no-hitter yesterday. Kudos to him but I really think it's a "baseball" thing. He was pitching to the right team on the right day. I like him but I'm glad we got Giolito instead of him.
Can't think of the guy's name but he was a 90s hitter, I believe, who was a bench outfielder. I think he had a long last name and was a lefty. I remember he always hit well. Kudos who comes up with the name.
