  1. Whoa. Didn't even realize the game started, sat back down at my computer, and it's already 3-0. Nice.
  2. Not even close! Other than the one of him falling down running to first, what else is there? I guess the one from just a couple of games ago.
  3. What's great about them is that they're not minor miscues, either. Each one really is like something out of a Keystone Kops movie.
  4. Alden Gonzalez ‏@Alden_Gonzalez Uh-oh. Tarp coming on the field at Nats Park.
  5. Ibanez in LF. Hope Trout is well-rested and ready to cover some ground today.
  6. Moral responsibility? Wow. Come down off of the high-horse, please. We're talking about sports here. I think you're giving it TOO MUCH weight.
  7. Exactly. And just b/c I don't cheer every move or think that everything is hunky-dory, that doesn't make me less of a fan.
  8. He absolutely does. But it's easier for some people to continue to play up the "East coast bias" myth, since it makes it easier to play the victim when things go wrong.
  9. He stole 22 bases and was caught 9 times. That's not good. Generally speaking, unless you're stealing bases at a 75% or higher rate, you're actually hurting your team in terms of expected runs.
  10. He's more like a modest-sized piece of poop. At least a gigantic piece would be somewhat noteworthy.
  11. Ibanez now at .150. Maybe we should create the Ibanez Line.
  12. A 2-1 game is going to be 3 1/2 hours long. Ridiculous.
  13. Not a surprise. I think he was probably out, but you can't overturn it based on the footage available.
  14. Apparently, Victor and Gubi have much better eyes than I do. I don't see anything in the angles that they've shown that is conclusive enough to overturn it, unfortunately.
  15. Nice. Mike DiGiovanna ‏@MikeDiGiovanna 17s With Castellanos RBI 1B off Jepsen in B6, #Angels relievers have allowed 14 of 24 (58%) inherited runners to score, 2nd-worst % in AL.
  16. I think this is one of the those weird games where nothing goes right, but then the Angels pull it out and win in the 9th. Those exist, right? Maybe? Anyway, since this is a crazy game, I'm gonna call an Ian Stewart HR to win the game.
  17. I'd just like to point out again: he's actually been in the organization for 13 years. He was drafted the year the Angels won the World Series.
