With a four game losing streak, Angel fans have officially lost their minds. Here are two of my favorite quotes from the last several days. "Our pitching sucks" - in response to Shoemaker leaving the game down 2-0. "I blame Dipoto, his trades messed up our chemistry." - You mean the one to trade Frieri away?!?! This board is fairly knowledgeable and even keeled. Facebook on the other hand . . . What have you heard that's made you laugh?

Good grief, I'm glad you found 4 buddies with no enthusiasm to record that piece of crap with you. It reminds me of the SNL skit with the burned out porn stars selling luxury hand bags.

The Phillies are exactly the kind of team I'm referring to but they have fewer prospects than the Angels. I would probably scream bloody murder if they picked up Papelbon. That might accomplish the impossible task of being a worse acquisition than Vernon Wells. Terrible contract, on the wrong side of his career.

I think that's a good point. But Howie and the other contract guys aren't going anywhere. They won't approve a move. Is there anybody without a no trade clause?

Cron and Shoemaker are both exceeding the general consensus from scouts. That means they are premium trade bait. Sell high. Particularly to a team that doesn't understand regression or becomes deluded enough to think expectations could be even higher. We need relief pitching. We don't even need premium relief pitching. I think Jerry is shopping these guys pretty hard Probably Green too. Don't get attached.

I found this list and added to it with what I knew was missing. 2010 Matsui and 2011 Haren. I have 2008 Hunter and it's a Bobblehead but maybe 2010 is a figure (granting you grace while you're at work)
