    It’s all bullshit. Unfortunately for us until he signs a deal or comes out and says he’s going to FA we aren’t going to know what’s going on. This idea that they can’t neogotiate during Spring Training is nonsense tho.

    It’s absolutely a bad sign. There’s no other way to interpret it. Now we’ll see what happens if the Angels actually do approach him. And they better. For now, this is all talk. But 100%. If they approach Trout with a desire offer him a huge extension, and they’re rebuffed because of spring traing. That is not good for us.

    I checked it out as well. He’s my favored guy. I’m just hopeful he’ll have an opportunity to be heard once the country goes into the circus that the 2020 cycle is going to be.

    Interesting stuff. Makes you wonder what Trout is wanting out of his contract. Teams are obviously willing to build a variety of different types of deal. It’s completely a guess, but i think that Trout probably will be most interested in a “set his career” contract as well. It makes sense. I think.

    We don’t know that they offered him 330 and 13 back in November though do we ? I think they strung this out way to long, but being in FA it makes sense to see who all the suitors are and what they’re willing to go to. Again, I doubt all this was necessary, but it makes sense that it took more then a few weeks.

OP is talking about supposed body language that apparently is new. Other stuff based on literally one spring training start in a couple of the cases. Like I said like less then 20 ABs in all others.
