  1. What's your point? Because if they want you dead, then you're dead. Either immediately or later when the goon squad rolls in with M-RAPS and flash bangs. They'll high-five each other over your corpse and call it "justice". BooYah! There is no escape. Such power cannot be entrusted to people of low character. They have all taken an oath to preserve, protect and defend the Constitution against all enemies foreign and domestic. If they violate that oath, either directly or by omission of action (Blue Code of Silence), the they are the domestic enemies of the Constitution. Those who follow that code are oathbreakers. I would much rather encounter any manner of criminal before an oathbreaker cop. A recent example? Police shoot two unarmed men in a car with 377 rounds. http://miami.cbslocal.com/2014/05/06/police-shooting-frenzy-raises-concerns/ One of the slain was suspected of a shooting earlier. The other man was suspected of nothing. That's an example of government power but certainly not of justice.
  2. Exactly. Fortunately, GPS is an extremely low power signal and unencrypted so it's easy to spoof. You could have a small device in your car that transmits (on GPS freqs) any location of your choice (ie your home) at all times. Travel around and it will always think you're at home. Spoofing odometer info is more difficult but not impossible. Of more concern is that government continues to assert undelegated privileges over us. They have never been granted the permission to monitor and track the free associations of their masters.
  3. "Most" of the time you can drive across Nevada without having your property stolen by a highway robber in a costume. Not this time though.
  4. If they have a shitty job then they should quit and do something else. Voluntarism. Most cops are good? So what? Most of the time you can drive across New Mexico without being kidnapped and cavity searched: http://articles.latimes.com/2014/jan/16/nation/la-na-nn-new-mexico-police-search-20140116 and then it happens again http://www.santafenewmexican.com/news/local_news/new-lawsuit-alleges-illegal-body-cavity-search/article_29d125fb-4814-55f4-a643-071548698f7a.html Police wield government power. "Most" is nowhere near good enough. "The problem however is greatly exaggerated by cop haters..". Laugh. I doubt the people being victimized everyday by these bastards would agree that this is just an exaggeration from "cop haters". The problem with cops originates with cops and especially those who refuse to hold them accountable for their actions.
  5. Morin continues to look good. Keep wearing those earplugs kid.
  6. Smith puked a protein bar so was unavailable monday. Then he felt tightness in his side unrelated to the puking and was unavailable yesterday. Frieri was put back into a high leverage situation last night because the people who make such decisions aren't bright enough to see that the previous two outing were fool's gold and he was still throwing shit. You didn't miss much.
  7. Crap. Could they possibly get any less out of that opportunity?
  8. The only good thing about this game is that I'm not there.
  9. Texas getting curbstomped for the 3rd day in a row. Had no trouble with the Angels.
  10. Ugh. You've got to LOUDLY call for the ball when there's a stadium full of stupid yankee fans cheering what they think is a Jeter homerun.
  11. Great stuff TDawg. Couldn't agree more. These unwritten rules, especially the pathetic demand for mercy while playing a game, make no sense to me. Is it really worse if you are beaten 18-2 when your opponent goes all-out, or 11-2 after you demand that he stop playing his hardest? Both may have some humiliation, but getting on your knees and asking for mercy in addition to getting beaten down is worse IMO. Some of the other rules are dumb too. If a pitcher is throwing a no-hitter, I'm going to make him defend the entire field, and that includes the infield on a bunt. As for home runs, I'm going to admire that thing. I can't hit a baseball worth a damn, but I occasionally hit a golf ball over 300 yards. It's fun. Not many things are more fun than that and you can bet I'm going to watch it the whole way. Managers or players getting mad when one of these unwritten rules isn't followed is one of the most beta things I've seen.
  12. Fired? Why? So he can be rehired immediately by an adjacent police department and continue victimizing people. That is with the assumption that he doesn't want to keep sucking on the public tit with his fraudulent "permanent duty disability". I'm no lawyer but I think maybe this penalty should apply in this situation: 18 U.S. Code § 242 - Deprivation of rights under color of law Or, maybe just afford him the same "due process" that was given to the guy on the beach or the homeless man in ABQ (and countless thousands of others). I also think these complicit ****ing District Attorneys who almost always refuse to bring charges against these dirty cops should be nailed under 18 U.S. Code § 241 - Conspiracy against rights. That will never happen in the Just-Us system. Too many indoctrinated copsuckers. Thanks for volunteering for the public to pay for her medical bills and millions in settlement instead of the person directly responsible. It makes so much sense to bill the victims and allow the criminals in government costumes to skate.
  13. It was a terrible pitch. Throw a down and in laser straight 4 seam fast ball to a lefty and expect to have it hit into the seats. The Roberts home run: http://m.mlb.com/video/v32670821/nyylaa-roberts-solo-homer-gives-yankees-a-43-lead/?c_id=mlb He threw nearly the same pitch to Jaso: http://m.mlb.com/video/v32090641/oaklaa-jaso-crushes-a-tworun-shot-to-take-lead/?c_id=mlb The pitch to Lobaton was inside also but had slightly more movement: http://m.mlb.com/video/v32332251/laawsh-lobaton-hits-a-solo-shot-to-right/?c_id=mlb The pitch to Smoak was right down the pipe but with an identical result: http://mlb.mlb.com/video/play.jsp?content_id=31782239&c_id=mlb&topic_id=vtp_longest_drives Where is the formerly awesome running fastball usually located high and away that left handed batters couldn't catch up to? Is he really throwing a 4-seamer instead with the target being inside to a lefty? Or is his command so terrible that he is missing his target by two feet with completely different movement? FWIW, the automatic pitch classification on gameday reads it as a 4-seam fastball. Based upon where the catcher is calling for these pitches (low and inside) it appears that they really are trying for a duck of a 4-seamer, which makes no goddamn sense considering how effective the running 2-seamer has been over his career. I'd like to know for certain. Either way, Frieri should be in mop-up role until he either grows a brain and goes back to the effective 2-seam fastball, or (if it's a command issue) works out his mechanics. Considering the level of instruction available to him, I expect that to take months.
  14. Why does Frieri insist on throwing this horrible pitch? It's gotten crushed over and over this year. 2 seamer or nothing.
  15. Ha. I remember when Al Conin said "Sherm Corbett is throwing up in the bullpen" meaning that he had just started throwing. Frieri against 3 consecutive lefties actually did make some sense in retrospect.
  16. Great game. Love beating the Yanks and their ahole obnoxious fans. Weaver gets the game ball.
  17. Let's fix what's not broken. Even though Frieri had a 1-2-3 inning his last appearance, his running 2 seamer was still MIA.
  18. The Hound killed Arya's friend Micah. That's probably why he's still on her shit list despite their camaraderie. It was Meryn Trant that killed (ostensibly) her dancing master, Syrio Forel. I really liked the episode. The character Locke was a nice addition to the story.
  19. Transplants suck. So do the never-been-to-new-york yankee fans. Nice start.
