So he been traded for a bag of used balls yet ?
-
With how good Bundy/Heaney/Canning have been this year along with Sandoval being solid, they can afford to let Ohtani just DH and hope that Teheran does well.
Ohtani has been OhShitani on the mound this year anyways.

Promote Pena to closer. Demote Robles.
Angels Closers that were better than Robles as Closer:
Brian Fuentes.Fernando Rodney.
Not even Rodney or Fuentes were this shitty.

Murray had been scouting Andersson since he was 16 in Sweden, so the Ducks must feel strongly about acquiring Kase for him.
Turning a 7th round pick(Kase) thats very injury prone (think Howie Kendrick type durability) into a RHD prospect like Andersson and a 1st round pick is a win.

Devon Shore to Columbus now being announced.
-
If he's traded watch that team flip him to the Athletics where he goes 18-7 with 3.15 ERA all because he put on the magic As cap.

With this current rotation, sigourney.
She probably throws harder than Jered too. I also heard that Mathis when pitching as a reliever can throw mid 85 to 88 despite being a backup catcher.

What if they sign both Cole & Strasburg ? Its not our money.

Angels Dino Ebel manager
Jose Mota bench coach
Dino Ebel's plan as manager: just try to steal bases & stretch singles into triples, just run run run run......& keep running

The Angels getting Maddon & the Ducks with Eakins. While Scioscia, Assmus & Carlyle are unemployed.
-
Yep. I bet he wants to return to California instead of the dump that is DC.

Firing those two guys is a case of: "We fixed the glitch"

Tricky Dick was the most famous Angels fan.
Nixon was an Angels fan ? He should had his people rig the playoffs for the Angels in 1970s instead of breaking into watergate.

I’d like to see them hire Will Ferrell. After the year we’ve all been through, we could use the comic relief.
Will Ferrell should replace Gubicza or at least be at post game coverage. Will Ferrell is the most famous Angels fan that i've heard of.

So the Cubs want to go nuclear with their roster & create a new curse that isn't broken until the year 2124......

And they're all jumpy as shit.
and Pujol's head gets bigger like Barry Bonds.....suddenly Pujols returns to form with a .300/.400/.550 35 HR season.

Fulmer as health and nutrition coach.
Suddenly then Trout stays healthy & hits 74 HRs next year, Simmons hits 35 HRs, Ohtani hits 50 HRs.

Cubs did the same exact thing to Rick Renteria before they hired Madden.
Lmao. Thats awesome though. Hopefully that is why they fired Assmus.
-
Hire MADDON. Asmus sucked, he managed the lineups crappy like Scioscia.

I have a feeling the plan is to go young, and that means we are in a rebuild. They just don't want to officially say we are in a rebuild.
The Seattle expansion draft will be interesting. I can really see the ducks protecting the following, Rakell, Kase, Terry, Steel, Jones, Comtois, Ludestrom. Larsson, Mahura, Fowler. Gibson. And the only reason for Fowler is that he is pretty big in the community and is signed long term. Although that can change with his injury history quick. I just can't find another young Dman to protect right now. And of course some of those young one's might not be eligible which means we could protect someone else.
Let Seattle chose between Rico (31 when the draft occurs), Lindholm (27), Silfverberg (30), Manson (29), Kesler, and Ritchie (25). My guess is between Rico and Silfverberg because they aren't horrible, and will have 3 years control. Lindholm and Manson with be a UFA in a year after the draft. Ritchie will be at draft RFA.
Fowler is more likely to be exposed than Lindholm by a pretty big margin especially because of Fowler's overpaid contract.
The advanced stats say Fowler is not worth protecting over Lindholm, the generic stats say it, there is no reason why they'd choose Fowler over Lindholm unless Murray went senile & has dementia.
Fowler did nothing better than Lindholm last season. Not on the PP, not on PK, not on 5 on 5, nothing.
Lindholm was used in defensive zone starts 59% of the time and his CF% was still superior to Fowlers despite Fowler being used in 53% of offensive zone starts(Fowler was sheltered somewhat).
Fowler was predictable on the PP, teams defend against the pass & allow Fowler to shoot because they are not afraid of his shot, he's gone back to firing muffin shots that seem to only hit the shin pads of other teams Dmen.

Should have been able to get Stassi for a bag of chips.
Astro's GM might have accepted an offer of 'chip bag from bottom of floor of a movie theater' + a refurbished condom + used bubblegum.

To be fair Fangraphs has him at -0.1 WAR (they include framing data). So probably a new condom.
Yeah, thats about fair value. Astros GM can now go out n party with Salma Hayek.
-
So what they did the Angels send to Houstson for a -0.7 WAR catcher ? A used condom & a refurbished condom ?
-
I'd rather they trade for Jeff Mathis just for the LOLs.
What is your Angels lineup, rotation & bullpen the rest of the season?

Fletcher
Ohtani DH
Trout CF
Rendon 3B
Goodwin LF
La Stella 1B
Adell RF
Stassi/Castro C
Simmons SS
Bench: Pujols, Upton , Rengifo. Most expensive bench in the league.
Rotation: Bundy/Heaney/Canning/Teheran/Sandoval
Closer: Pena - dude has been lights out, strikes them out and rarely allows walks.
Send Robles to Long Beach, he probably wouldn't be able to get out Little Leaguers or Brandon Wood atm.
