    What about Garza? I know he isnt great but is better than whats out on the market and wont cost a draft pick.

    Lets spend the extra cash and get someone above league avg just in case.

    Garza just happens to be the best available. I think everyone would rather have Tanaka but the chances of landing him are slim. I say roll the dice with Garza and trade for a #4. IMHO.

    I think he will put up those numbers and maybe even increase the HR and RBI numbers. My glass is always half full though and expect the best. I think Hamilton will have a bounce back year as well.

    I'd like to stay away from starters that will cost a draft pick if at all possible. Not sure if that's doable or not. That's why I lean towards Garza.

    Feldman wants 10 mil a year? than forget about it.

    Feldman is 30 and has done at the very least above avg since he left Texas. Signing Feldman doesn't get me excited but he might be a less expensive option on FA market to fill that #4 or #5 spot. It would give the Angels the ability to take fliers on Hudson and Neimann potentially and still trade HK, Aybar or Trumbo for prospects if Lux tax is a concern.

    Hasn't Feldman been solid the last couple years? Why not sign him to be our 4th or 5th and sign Garza? We don't loose a draft pick and Feldman won't cost as much as other FA pitchers. I'd also like to sign Neimann or Hudson for depth. Could we still go after Tanaka?
