If the Phillies paid a lot of Lee's contract and it meant giving up Pete plus a low level prospect id do it in a heart beat and I love Pete. A healthy Weaver, Lee, Wilson an Richards is a really good start to a dominate rotation.

I still think we should take a shot at Josh Johnson. He won't cost as much and he still has life on his fastball. Might be a really good buy low candidate. I know this isn't liked by a lot of people on this board and health is a concern.

How many blown saves did have compared to Nathan? Is Nathan worth that much more money? Nathan's presence in the pen would be nice though.

I agree. Ernesto was pretty good in the closer role last year. He just had a rough stretch and maybe with a year of experience under his belt he is due for a very solid season
