Sign Tanaka and Colon. Colon on a one year deal is way better then Vargas on multi-year deal. Trade Bourjos for bullpen arms. Trade Howie or Trumbo depending on what is being offered for young starting pitching that is ML ready. Still think the Angels will need a closer, but a rotation of Weaver, Colon, Tanaka, CJ, Richards should be good enough with depth in the minors from a trade. I know a lot people won't like signing Colon but at his age he could be one of few pitchers that won't cost a lot and only a one year deal.

I really hope they don't keep Vargas, they need better.

I would laugh when one them slips and falls. No, I wouldn't have a problem with it.

The one thing to remember is he had a normal decline. He didnt get better as he got older, not sure that will help him, but in my mind it does.

Who are WE? I don't remember anyone saying this about the Rams not being in LA. Most fans don't care, just the butt hurt ones who live in Anaheim. Again, all the tax revenue stays in Anaheim, LA gets nothing. People of Anaheim let it go.

They can still sign him in the offseason, but I hope they can pull something off and get a decent prospect for him. What do you think, trade him or hold on to him?

I didn't say he would fire him, just that he could. Arte likes big names and La Russa has said he is interested in FO position. It's just a guess. La Russa has also said he would not have signed Albert and he has been spending time with Dave Dombrowski. I think they could do and have done a lot worse then La Russa.

Tony La Russa will be hired as GM with Scioscia staying as the manager for now. All baseball decisions will be made by La Russa and he will have the ability to fire Mike. That's my prediction.

Trumbo was not that good, and if you think the 2011 Angels team were as good as the 2011 Rangers then I can't help you. I also noticed you just skipped over 2010, so I guess you agree that team didn't underperform?

2009 the Angels were in the ALCS in 2010 they let Vlad, Lackey, and Figgy walk and yes it was a good decision, but I'm tired of saying the Angels underperformed the last 4 years. It's BS K-Mo broke his ankle and the Rangers went to the WS in 2010 and 2011, they were the better team. 2012 was the only team i look at and honestly say that the team underperformed and even that team had more wins then the Tigers. Dipoto should have kept that team together and they would have had a chance. This is on Dipoto and it's not even a debate.
