  1. That would be sweet....get up and cast your line out in the morning then hit the course and cast out the F bomb....rinse repeat. Where do you live at?
  2. I had you figured for a power hitting shortstop, pitcher is for old guys like me.
  3. I could see myself pitching a tent over by the lake and just staying there a while. Golfing too.
  4. I played wolf with this group who plays about 5 days a week and I can make it about twice a month. It was great, none of them ever picked me and I won most the money.
  5. 80 this morning with a triple and double on the last two holes. I am the master at finding a way to never break 80.
  6. I do a great trolololo song. Looking creepy like that guy comes very natural to me also.
  7. Since we are out of towners I will just have to find the nearest market and get some styrofoam coolers and whatever premade stuff they may have,.
  8. I will have to play this by ear but likely won't make this one. After the golf and all day Saturday I have to go see my mom. She was at a nice assisted living place in San Luis Obispo for years but her alzheimers has gotten so bad she was wandering off and we had to move her to a nursing home in San Fernando Valley. Gotta make the drive from OC up there a couple days. I am sure after Friday and Saturday my beer gut will have expanded to the popping point anyway.
  9. Girls at the golf course just reach in cart and hand me a beer, I always tip them. Depends on where you are at and how you get to know people sometimes. I don't tip at McDonalds but in general always leave a tip. Most the time I have enough cash to leave the tip in cash if using a card. I always think that helps them but not sure if that makes any difference. Where I get confused tipping is when it has the gratuity already added onto the bill.
  10. Did someone just give a tip in the tipping thread?
  11. lol, truth is all dollars likely have feces on them
  12. Reading through here most are having fun with it, which is where I would be and some actually seem concerned.....don't be concerned about this. You will end up selling your hair to a wig shop.
  13. Ya Tyler, the guy I played with we just jelled well and we ended up shooting much better because we had no expectations and were having fun. The lower handicap guys got frustrated with themselves. I normally shoot from 80 to 90 any given time depending on the course. I play well in scrambles because I don't worry about my own score and have fun.
  14. That isn't me wicked, had too many knee surgeries to do that.
  15. I haven't played a round by myself in longer than usual but did play a two-man, 2-day tourney other day. They only let in 28 players so it was low-key and drew for partners so I ended up with the 25 handicap to go with my 13. The guy with the 25 was pretty bad but may have been less than 25. We played a shamble first day and shot 76 having to use 9 of his tee shots. Next day it was a regular scramble and shot 69 and we were paired with a 1 and 5 handicap and beat them. Those guys may have cheated themselves the other way. The guy who was a 1 could kick my ass but you still need to wow me more to be an actual 1. The guy who was a 5 I was keeping up with. They were probably more like 5 and 12....least they didn't sandbag. Won $60 first day and $120 second day after $100 entry. it was for a church, I gave all my winnings back. First time I played a shamble but I like scrambles better.
  16. Loaded up a hot dog with everything other day and had to get to 10th tee. Took off in cart driving and holding it in my left hand and gust of wind came up and slammed the plate into my face and all over the front of me. I ate a hot dog also.
  17. When you put it this way then you are on our team. I will just text you and say "it's your putt" then you text back "made it". Just let me know which par-4s you drove the green before.
  18. Tank, this is the information age. We can just phone or conference you in for that stuff from the cart.
  19. Chuck and I need one more. We need an A player because Chuck has palsy and I see dead people so we will need some help.
  20. Light grip is the key for us duffers. I have been practicing it a lot also. Everything goes well until about 6 inches from impacting the ball I go right back to white knuckles squeezing. All my hard pulls are from the grip.
