  1. I'm sure being abused her entire life and shot might have something to do her being a little troubled.  I'm sure having a great neighbor like you was helpful.

She sold the big house and moved to Summit of Anaheim Hills .

We were in a cul de sac . They were three houses down opposite of us .

Cops were called more than once b/c they'd have really loud parties in there .

You're a goodie-goodie .  You'd be the first to call the cops if you were adjacent to their house .

We're never going to hear Donnie's version of what really drove him over the cliff.

  2. Who said anything about Aybar being traded?  Hes worth his contract just for his defense alone.  And I think he can still get better offensively, if he learns better plate discipline.

Kendrick is the one that needs to go.

    Why ?

Find a better more consistent second baseman.

Unless, you wanna roll the dice on Green.

  3. Come on Tom, the Royals may have played better but that is partly because the Angels played badly.

They didn't hit all that well the first two games . Definitely beatable the first two games .

A hit there or a catch there from us could have turned it around.

  4. Donnie's widow and kid lived across us at Anaheim Hills .

She was nothing but trouble for the neighborhood .

She was foreclosed . She ransacked the house before leaving .

Took the oven and the dishwasher even.

Weeks after she was foreclosed, people would knock on our door asking where she was.

One showed me a check she wrote at the swap meet . lol

  5. I'm not defending Hamilton or Scioscia, I am arguing the thought by some that Cowgill would have been the difference, some on here talk like it is a FACT that Cowgill would have gotten the job done. Maybe he does maybe he doesn't, I can tell you not a single other player on the team got the job done, so I see no reason to believe that Cowgill would have been much different.

I say Cowgil would have caught that ball in the outfield and kept the runner on second base .

Not fall over after catching the ball.

  6. I have said this before:

There isn't a manager in baseball who would have started Cowgill over Hamilton in the playoffs. Quit talking like that was an rational option.  During the playoffs you go with your best and you hope your best performs.  Hamilton didn't but Hamilton having a bad year is the equivalent of Cowgill having an average year.

Trout, Ianetta, Cron, Freese:  All had just one more hit than Hamilton.  You really think Cowgill would have made a difference?  Your fooling yourself.  The whole team sucked on offense.

You guys talk as if only Cowgill would have played we would have won the ALDS.

    BS.

Most managers would have left him out of the roster.

  7. Game 1)  Kansas City had a deeper and more effective bullpen than the Angels.

Game 2)  More of the same as game #1.

Game 3)  Angels had only two effective starters exiting the regular season against the Royals starting their number 1 pitcher (their ace).

It's interesting that the two teams with the two best postseason bullpens in the American League will play in the ALCS, and with their full complement of starters.  Baltimore has the slight edge because their hitting is stronger.

    1. We bunted 3 times .

    2. Conger did not PH for Iannetta to bunt Cowgil to third .

    3. The bats came alive but Hambone was still in the 7th spot . Rasmus should have started .

  8. Those looking for Scioscia to get fired are wasting their time...there's one scenario I can see.

I think there is one job Scioscia would consider leaving the Angels for, and that's the Dodger gig...and I think that team might be looking, especially if they thought they could bring in someone like Scioscia. Mattingley has never seemed to be a comfortable fit there.

I find it unlikely it would actually happen...but I wouldn't be shocked if the Dodgers made a play for Scioscia this off season, and I wouldn't be completely shocked if he wanted to make the move and the Angels let it happen for some young arms in return.

I'm praying for DonMat getting fired then.
