We were swept by the Red Sox too ( another wild card team ) but, we did not have the best record.

I personally was a huge Lackey fan. The man pitched his ass off for us, and won game 7 of the world series. Nothing to be bitter about.

I disagree, he tried bunting, but at the wrong times and with the guys. Bunting with Calhoun was idiotic, not bunting with Iannetta was also the wrong move. Bunting multiple times with Hamilton next. With the games so close moves such as those could be the difference between a win and a loss.

He bunted into oblivion and did not bunt when needed .

The bats started to come alive , finally in the third game . But, not winning those two games b/c of bad decisions made it too late .

Playing Hambone was IDIOTIC.

Cron should have DH'd against a lefty and Navarro against a righty.

I didn't dislike Guillen as much . He was a real intense player . It killed us when he was suspended before the playoffs.

It's interesting to see people back on the trade Aybar and Kendrick bandwagons.  Those two are 2 of the top 3 WAR position players on the team and both signed to value contracts.  I get the idea that they might bring in the most but if the idea is to improve the team next year then trading those two likely isn't the answer.

Whoever authorized starting Josh Hamilton in all three games of the ALDS despite the fact he hadn't played in a month should be fired. That could be Scioscia. If it's actually Moreno personally micromanaging things like Hamilton starting, Pujols batting third, Pujols batting immediately behind Trout in the lineup, CJ Wilson starting instead of Rasmus or Santiago etc. then there's nothing we can do. Can't fire the owner =/
