Yeah, Frieri sucks. He's the most reliable, best pitcherin the BP, but yeah he sucks AO. You are the most reactionary, predictable person here. How does the crow taste?
MOD EDIT: WATCH YOUR LANGUAGE PLEASE
So the relievers promptly give up 3 runs and you still think it was the right call? The question isn't whether or not Jerome was tiring but whether a tired Jerome or the bull pen was the best option.
Oh and his last outing as a starter had his sinker way up, too, because he had more fly ball outs than ground outs. Guess you weren't paying attention.
The snide remarks aren't necessary, are they? Too much personal stuff on this board.
Christ, Hansen...get your house in order and get back to work. These guys only pitch once every five days. How many more does he need?
They better catch on fire soon or this hole will be impossible to fill.
I asked if the code of conduct only applied to newbs like me because there are people here with significant post counts who get away with it all the time and I was told to "settle down" by a mod some time ago. Angelsandrams --- you and others get away with that crapola all the time and everything is cool.
Can the team needing time to "gel" better really be that big of an issue? Enough to contribute to this many losses? Maybe Haren had a point, but it has to be more of a contributing factor vs the main reason. Staff turnover can't stifle winning this much, can it?
Yep, Hamilton will be fine. My brother in law in Dallas called me to tell me how slow he his to start raking. Good to see back to back homers, though his comments after the game were a little odd to me.
I said it in the old AW forum when Hamilton was signed...I wasn't crazy about the deal; too many years and a lot of dough for someone that is injury prone and does not help with the pitching problem. So far, the root cause is Dibozo thinking offense is more important (eg, Pujols, Hamilton).
