Relax guys, it's very very early.  Plus I'm going to the game tomorrow so we are gonna win 5-2.  

Fun game, Freddie looked good, we played better but nowhere near our best.  No reason not to finish the game 4 on 3 in ot, gotta figure out the power play.  Crowd was also excellent, very energetic!

1st reg season game when Sharks had already played one.  If they come out flat tonight I'll be disappointed in the start but I think Ducks win 4-1 tonight.

If an Angels player made that slide in a playoff game everyone here would be applauding the slide saying it's good hard baseball.  I'm good with the slide, happens all the time in baseball, and just happened earlier in the day with Donaldson in the Jays game.  Unfortunate Tejada broke his leg on the play, Murphy should've made a better toss.  

Looks like we are going to be a cap team for the next few years.  I really wish they would sign Hampus already.  if you know any hot OC chicks send them his way.  If he falls in love with a local it will be easier to sign him to a reasonable long term deal.

Interesting that after tonight the home teams may be 0-4 in these playoffs, and they all had a chance to start probably their best pitchers.  How does that happen?

If I recall correctly he wanted to come to Anaheim but we only wanted to pay something like 5/75 or 6/80 and he got 6/96 from the Rangers.  That is like 6/3billion when factoring in state taxes.

Los Angeles expansion is the hot topic at NFL owners’ meeting

 

This is what is going to happen IMO.  You can't get 3 teams in LA.  Just can't.  That might kill the Carson project.  

 

Kroenke has the best plan, since he has the financing and land.  Even though St Louis might be giving the Rams the best stadium plan.  Kroenke is also worth $7.6 billion according to Forbes.  

 

So this is what I think is going to happen.  

 

Kroenke will be given the green light.  But he will have to pay the Chargers a territorial infringement fee of $500 million, that will go towards the new stadium in San Diego.  Raiders will be told to sit quiet for now.  The league will get a big relocation fee from Kroenke also, like a billion.  So he pays $1.5 billion + $1ish billion for the stadium or $2.5 billion est.  According to Forbes, Cowboys are valued at $4 billion.  Rams at $1.45 billion.  A team in LA with it's own stadium will be closer to if not more than the Cowboys, see Clippers.  So $1.45 + $2.5 is still less than the $4 billion+ it will probably be worth.  

 

So Kroenke will get a new stadium in Los Angeles.  The Chargers will get a new stadium in San Diego.  Which means St Louis will suck it.  But it's better than San Diego and St Louis sucking it.  Raiders will be in limbo.  

 

Then the NFL will announce their plan to expand to Britain.  British Raiders, entire new territory for them.  Of course Britain will have to build a stadium or partially for them.  

 

2 new territories, LA and Britain.  3 new stadiums.  1 suck it.  With a huge new expansion of the client base.

It sure doesn't look good right now but a lot can change over a month and a half.  

When a Chicago team is good they sell so damn well.  Before they got good, tickets could be had for $15 or less for almost every game.  

Edit...take a look at Cubs NLDS prices compared to Dodgers or Yankees, ****ing insane!

So I just binged the first 5 seasons for the last month or so.  They end season 5 with the watch killing John Snow are you kidding me? 

The only thing that really pisses me off is we blew it by not beating Barry ****ing Zito and giving up 6 unearned runs in that game.  Season is now officially over.  On the plus side the best team in hockey has their 1st home game in 8 days.  It's gonna be a fun season at the Ponda!

So 8 run top of the 9th?
