  2. More than 18,000 men have played in the majors since 1876. Albert Pujols became only the 26th player to hit 500 home runs. Think about that for a moment...
  3. Wow, I was way off on Albert. I'm getting old...

  6. Albert is the 3rd youngest player to get to 500 home runs. A-Rod and Jimmie Foxx were younger.

  12. Mariners are 4-12 since they swept us to start the season.
  13. What's Troy Glaus up to right now? Seriously. He's 'only' 37 years old.
  14. I hope Scioscia isn't planning to let Freese work through his slump for the next five months, like he did with Finley.
  15. Last two starts: 10.1 IP 17 hits 4 walks 10 ER 2.03 WHIP .340 BAA
  16. But AO's been a fan since 1966. Go pick on him! LOL.
  17. Angels, Angels, stand up and shout! One batter, two batter, three batters out! Ground ball, pop up, weak fly ball. There goes the rally, once and for all!
  18. When Kenny Lofton hit that fastball from Percival, my first thought was "oh no, game-tying 3-run homer". The pitch was just a little too high for Lofton to get it out. What an incredible relief and joy it was to see us win that Series!
