Also anyone who builds rubs and likes heat, check out Flat Iron Pepper Company. Huge variety of pepper flake flavors and heats. Put them in a cheap Amazon grinder and add to your meats and rubs. The four pepper blend had replaced a black pepper grinder at my house. Great stuff!

Bauer’s YouTube blogs about his journey to and in Japan have been really entertaining. To see baseball culture in Japan, and how different everything is is pretty engaging. And he’s pretty humble in the videos shockingly enough. Maybe not for everyone but I’m digging it. Everything from him buying and trying new gloves, to the facilities and how they differ, to the fans, and really his training programs are really cool behind the curtain looks…

I generally make my own sauces and rubs but if you need premade bottled stuff Killer Hogs has some pretty good stuff. Good vinegar sauce, good BBQ sauce and some good rubs too. The Hot BBQ rub is a damn tasty base on a smoked tri tip. Sometimes I’ll use these as bases to build my own as well. Malcolm knows how to make good BBQ. His vids are pretty informative too. From home cooks to competition stuff.

Question for guys that track the minors… what RP and SP options do we have? Anyone doing good down there, like Bachman or Joyce? or is everyone struggling at every level? Or is it just too early to bring them up? just curious if we have anything cooking or not. If if we need to start looking a trades

The thing that sucks is that Suarez shouldn’t have even been in the rotation after all the diarrhea he left on the field. But Nevin likes his “stuff” and the blind squirrel found a nut so they left him in. we just find ways to give away games “but it’s a marathon and it’s early” Tired of embarassing losses. Tired of missing the playoffs. Tired of wasting two of the best players in the history of the game. but hey, we will spend and break the tax threshold for the right guy…someday
