Agreed. Rendon should focus on the important things in life such as his kids. I suggest that he opt out of his contract and spend more time with his family. Then everyone will be happy.

What may be concerning is that even when he was healthy, he struggled to catch up with fastballs, especially up in the zone. Unless that changes, his numbers will continue to regress.

I said "tangible". Washington currently has done nothing tanglble that has unarguably translated into putting the Angels in a better position. As of now, his ability to move the w/l in a positive direction is just a wish. The same guys on here that don't "respect" my opinion, think Arte is making great moves.

It's quite clear that neither your reading comprehension nor your ability to see around corners has improved at all since the season ended. What I am saying is that the Angel executive team decision making since Oct. 1 has contributed greatly to the awful state of the franchise as described in the most recent Angels win Podcast. Not one single decision has tangibly improved the club from being a playoff contender last Aug (pre insurmountable injuries) to being a MLB laughingstock they are now.

If you're a season ticket holder and not a cuck (like me) then you should be demanding better communication from Angel Executive mgmt.

Your post would have merit (for once) if there has been a rush of ego's lining up to sign.

That would be why a "mercenary" would want to come to the Angels. My question pertained to a "competitive" player. i.e. wanting to play in the post season.
