I am not a baseball fan. I am an ANGEL fan. I was at all the home games in the World Series in 2002. If the Angels are not in the playoffs, I never watch a complete game. I see occasional highlights. I am an active computer gamer and have lots of other hobbies. I am frustrated with the team now. Watching the Angels is my #1 hobby. I feel that I get more upset with loses than the team members do. After all, when they are a free agent, they will just jump to the highest bidder or close to the highest bidder. I refuse to go where the grass is greener. I'm used to just looking at the weeds and Arte dumping a bunch of fertilizer on them to see if he can grow something, which, as we all know, doesn't work.

One team to stay away from is Atlanta. Minasian still seems to have some past loyalties. We got screwed royally on the Iglesias deal and giving away Herget and getting nothing but cash is mind boggling. He had some past success and could have been a throw-in as part of a package.

Snell on the DL. Maybe the Angels can trade Jose Suarez and a 1 year supply of lip gloss to the Giants for 4 inch spikes to but on Adell's shoes, so he can touch 2nd base quicker.

Washington lost this game, not the umpires. There is zero reason to use Suarez in a 2 run game with a day off tomorrow.

Right now, Schanuel looks a little better. He is better chasing down a pop fly over his head and has better instincts, running in to field a ground ball before it goes foul. Also, Schanuel should improve faster under Washington's tutelage because Sano has to take defensive reps at both 1B and 3B.

I agree, but players that slide feet 1st usually bend 1 leg for a pop-up slide, so if it is an errant throw, they get up quick to take an extra base. Most players slide head 1st, so you can maneuver your hand to avoid a tag.

They need to talk to Neto. On a close play at home, it makes no sense to slide feet 1st. Slide head 1st and touch the plate with your hand.
